Pulled the candy apple today, I wish I had before I watered yesterday, oh well, checked trichs today, first spot I looked had like 5 out of 30 amber. So I cut it today.
Wedding cake is still 80% clear so far, but it won’t have as much weight as this lushest lady.

Some of the branches were pretty dense, my overkill training stunted the growth and made the process take longer.... but still pleased with the end result. Nice recovery plant!!!

Looks good! Just a tip. That plant could go for weeks longer. Until most of the white pistils are receded and the calyx all swelled and stacked then you check the calyx not the bud leaf for trichome color.

Patience equals potency. Many growers complain about early cut weed but i have never heard one complain they went too long.

Nice healthy colorful plant. Really nice job. Wait til you let one really finish. The difference will blow your mind. Commercial weed never usually gets there. We can do better.

Agree, too soon; you must check trichomes deep in on the bud and not on the Sugar Leaf as they finish much sooner

Plus as the plant makes new calyx along with the white pistils are new clear trichomes. They grow in layers

In my first year I took the advice of 3/4 pistils turned orange/brown and 8 weeks like my breeder intended. The weed was tasty and potent especially compared to what we could get on the street or dispensary.

But over time i realized the weed was too heady for a hybrid. It was uplifting and fun but it was not giving me the body buzz and medical effects I desire.

So i started to take samples at different times and let a plant keep going.

About week 10 with a healthy plant I started noticing more body effects. Turns out I have now let half of these sativa leaning plants go 11-12 weeks and they have way more potency and much more balanced and more complex effects.

And noticably higher yield.

Just my experience.

Got my new tent and clone machine today, tested the clone machine out. Overall I’m impressed, I thought based on reviews I might regret it. The bottom is stout plastic, and the top around the collars is stout, the sides of the top where they fit together is pretty thin, but it doesn’t leak and with some fine tuning the misters spray pretty evenly everywhere.

Also got a batch of buffer coco going

Made a coco pete sieve out of some scrap wood and aluminum door screen, sizes to go on top a 5 gallon bucket to catch the Pete water stuff

Wedding cake sure is pretty, the color is really coming back in it ant the jack herer! 2.5 ml each micro,grow,bloom 1ml super thrive, water thoroughly with ph water then water in nutes. My soil mix is working good for drainage as well.

Jack herer, 4 week buds are already bigger than the wedding cake, this things going to be fat! Color is coming back good it was hungry I think.

More jack here, moved to flower after 2.5 weeks veg, I know your supposed to wait at least 3 weeks cause they won’t start flowering till then and they don’t get as much light with the 12/12. I just needed the room. They are showing some micro sex sign, have 9 unsexed plants in my flower tent.... can I pull them out into veg?

Took cuttings from skittles key lime and melon, testing dirt and the cloner side by side with key lime and melon

the ones in the cloner perked up fast following the light

Melon looking a little more healthy, it was super dense inside the canopy, ended up taking 7 cuttings off it, all the larger branches, put 5 in cloner and 2 in dirt. Thinned out the bottoms of the branches to, lollipop a little. Left a ton of growth nodes for the next round of cuttings, will see how it handles the chopping. Took 3 key lime cuttings, 2 in cloner 1 in dirt. And 2 of the og skittles in the cloner

Got babies to, Girl Scout cookies and purple mountain majesty. And next to them the new romie clone.

The 6 seedling jack herer are starting to show sex. Tiny weird little organs at first

This one looks male to me. I think all the bigger ones are female and the small ones are male, I pulled all the small ones just in case, also I only want the healthy ones, got plenty of herer going. Still waiting on the dosiwhat to show sex as well
