One thing I had not been considering is flower time, I was just romantically picking all the most beautiful and exotic sounding strains.

I am realizing that I should be looking for shorter flower time strains. The melon is 50 days the herer is 60 they have some as short as 45 days, I’m just having fun seeing all the variety!

Even with the herer, the way half the plants were stubby with small leaves and the other half were bushy and thick. I have not confirmed all the small ones are male, only one of the 3 I think is showing balls yet, but 2 of the big ones are female for sure!

The wedding cake is stunning, I’m just having fun I guess , the wedding cake is the last of my first run, what a shit show, I will be glad for the space. The herer will need it.

So for seeds I bought 3 that are 55 day and 2 that are 60 day, the melon clone is 50 days. I also imagine it will take longer for them to flower like the slow growth I’m getting.

Veg tent, I imagine the light green color is lack of light intensity, the romie clone is beginning to green up, but the stuff under the 400 hps gets darker green almost as soon as it goes in. Seeds keep popping like crazy, a little slow, but I only lost one seed, because I dug it up. Direct planting and cloning seems to work the best for me.

So as far as the clone machine, I made a mistake I think. I ph the water with distilled white vinegar, then ran the pump for overnight in my living room to warm the water. I cut the clones and dipped them in root gel. Then stuck them in cloner. Added the clone solution after 2 days, keep adding vinegar regularly. Ph jumps fast, need to toss the water I think

I read need a better acid for hydro purpose, going to go buy ph down next time I’m out. Maybe easier for me to plug them in dirt.

Read it’s supposed to be 5.5-6? it starts at 7 from tap and creeps to 8 and holds at 8 once it’s in the aeroponic machine warmed to 70 degrees. Been adding 10 ml vinegar a day brings it to low 6 and next morning it’s 8 again, going to buy gh ph down today and toss water. And won’t add anything except 1ml super thrive to 2 gal water see where it ends up then ph down?

I used ez clone gel then put the ez clone solution in the water, 500ppm after 3 days of adding vinegar.

With Dirt clones I really don’t mess with the pH I’m having good success with watering the dirt then dipping the clone in Rooting gel then putting it in a hole I make with a chopstick in the dirt pressing the dirt down lightly. Using a humidity dome still. I’m maintaining high 90s humidity and 70+ degrees with a spray bottle and heat pad. Idk it just seems like the easiest way for me I need to learn more about nutrients and hydroponics first before I start making hydroponic clones. Going to see what happens anyway. I keep reading everyone tell all of us new guys to stick with one thing until we figure it out before we switch

Next time check this kit out much tighter range, much easier to read 6.0 - 7.6. And also consider citric acid as mentioned, very cheap, last forever, works great too

what are u nonsalt growers using in fluid form, if any- for northbound ph adjusters? i have a feeling i just received a bunk batch of gh ph ^ ... seems to me and the lack of ph damage, with such a large (double previous max's, b4 ph spotting) requirement, of late... somebody's been diluting. i did use a new to me- vendor...? I'd rather not get another bottle, especially of gh, now... and if i h.... if G has- something i might liberate from the pantry...??? ph up-ish? won't burn my schnutz???

lemon juice to lower, baking soda to raise.... but to be more precise its better just to get PH up or down from the grow shop

thanks, snotz! i might try to premix. g has a grip... like hoarder puu bager amounts of b-soda and btw... folks... b-soda can burn straight through ur schnutz, just like any ph1/10. i don't recommend it as a solution to any nair... mishaps... don't care how freaky ur pardner is. same with gh ph up n down. poison control will tell u same, but with Chattanooga twang. it CAN get in ur bloodstream. use protection... and having a tube of that silversulphadine stuff around n case u do... or dr neighbors .... hopefully they're not conservative and hubby is home, too... should u need "anyone "... to take a look at your elephantitis and barber poll. it should heal, but there's a reason she may never... touch ur bad places, again.

i use under 15ppm ro. used to use zerowater/"distilled". 40 gallons a wk through a couple of those... g didn't like swimmin in her kitchen. it got ugly. the water store guy... keeps it below 15 and i report his figures so he doesn't have to make the trek. so it's basically... that. um... imma try to premix (sorry to jack ur thread, here)... let it set, overnight n a couple diff containers n see how "homogeneous" the effects remain n solution, over 24... if it holds, steady... i might dumpster dive, c if i still have the old bottle & mix a bit n see. go with our "less is often more", montra, before i exfoliate my junk n eyeballs, again.
