Going to set up a tray for run off collection to help deal with 9 plants, maybe a drip system to but for now I’m ok with a watering can

I was looking into hydro trays, and hydroponics in general, mostly because I spend a lot of time watering for such a small and all kinds of options, it was getting super expensive, till I found a washing machine pan for 30$ that came with drain fittings, a fish tank return that came with everything needed from the pan to runoff bucket for 12$, and a cheap garden drip system for 13$, I already have a water pump and air pump and stones etc, going to put all my pots in the pan and use it so I don’t have to take the pots out to water, sheesh it’s a pain.

So this next run I’m going to implement the drip system and runoff collection, but going to collect runoff in a separate bucket and continue to use the ffof. I’m going to set up a bucket as a reservoir, it’s going to have a bubbler stone or 2, and a pump, connected to a small irrigation system. eventually I’ll put a return inlet into the bucket but for now it’s just going to be a watering reservoir. Need to problem solve and build one part at a time. It’s going to be tricky with soil, I’m going to set up shut off valves so I can individually water the plants. Once I think I can switch over I’ll use large perlite and just run the pump 24/7 and see how that works, this is a big experiment.

Thinking more and more about using a screen to help keep the canopy even and make the most of my space.
The only reason I don’t use a net is I like to fuck with the plants to much- in and out of tents - spinning etc. so I deal with uneven canopy and lost yield. If I was looking for quantity vs space I’d prolly try it

I like to as well, it’s been necessary for watering to, just trying to lessen the amount of responsibilities I have to take care of lol

So I am planning on running different varieties. That was the whole point in the beginning. I don’t think screen of green will work as good if I am pulling stuff at different times, I’m imagining things getting tangled up

Is this thing done yet? They are getting so heavy the buds are flopping over. Not looking to bad for an angry over nuted plant. I decided to not give them the pbpg last watering but a boost of Dyna-Gro protek and bloom, I gave them the full strength because it sounded like just a little. It was to much gave 2ml each maybe next time I’ll half that when I feel like it’s the time.
This one still has white hairs forming at the top

This sundae driver has been really nice to work with, it’s slow to root cloning, but it has rolled with all the stress and is finishing smooth, but it didn’t bulk up as much as some of the others

The frosted lemons are a little further away, but they already look nice, they are starting to fatten up to, and of all the strains, it’s the most solid, rock hard buds, they aren’t going to shrink as much as the rest I don’t think once dried

I can’t read this one, the hairs are turning but it just looks light, maybe it’s the sativa dominant genes? It has the biggest trichomes, long hairs and was yellow most of the flowering, needed nitro early on and never recovered?

Turned my light down, And adjusted the ventilation a little, the seedling continually looked light or wind stressed the way it was drooping, I changed the intake from overhead to below pot height, and turned the light down, it perked up and I increased the lighting a touch, after a few hours it was still perked so I bumped it a little more and I’m going to check again in the morning.

side note, the romie has been happy and unaffected by the lightingand wind changes. I see it slowly darkening in color as the nutes and better lighting slowly give it strength and vigor. It was in a 3” nursery pot under fluorescent for over a month.

Up skirt pic of the clone tent light, maybe a little overkill :)

I had it going full blast in the flower tent along with the 400w hps, but wanted the spectrum for the veg time in the clone tent, so I swapped them, I have a 135 true watt burple I think I’m going to toss in its place, maybe don’t need it though idk, going to change the hps bulb after this with the hortilux

By the way these are kingbrite led lights I’m using, they were friendly, prompt in responses, fast shipping, and they work. If a person were to need like 10 or so it would be an insane deal, the energy savings and cost savings, I bought one of each, and separate orders, so shipping seemed high, but with large orders, it would really pay off. And the plants love them, the seedling was unhappy with the wind from the ventilation, that’s why it was droopy

The 240 watt led is a beast, the 125 is good for supplement but the 240 has some serious power

I thought this was a cat hair, but no it is most definitely a plant hair, had me trippin for a sec, what you guys think? Almost looks like a root, but I think the humidity is to low, and the moving air and light would kill it off. Idk lol

Got a new comer, layer cake, wedding cake and gmo cross, much healthier clone than the romie, different dispensary. Cut the top for clone cause it wasn’t to thick, going to try to mom it for a while. Think I got everything I need and then some :)

So when I water now I’m watering with just water, tds 160ish, till runoff, then testing that and running nutes based off the tds of pure water runoff, is this correct?

Also I’m getting about 800 tds on my 2 in smart pots with just the water, still shooting in the dark wth the right tds nutes
