Advanced pump setup and no gravity drain

I knew it!!!!

I was right about at least one part of this whole thread. Whoohoo!

A sliver of success....Can I get a cheer to saying fuck off to hydroton and lava at least? Ebay, search bio balls, sort high priced, $150 shipped for 20 gallons is highest, some help finding the best deal would be nice.


It's like crickets over here...


Thats cheap for 20 gallons of bio balls.

This is a smallest transfer pump I could find, I'm thinking of raising the buckets enough to run the feed lines directly under the buckets for full system drainage. THen maybe cap the 4" return on both ends and put a fitting on the low end for the "suck" hose of the pump

This way we could use big tall reservoirs and have the buckets lower to give more room for vertical growth

What do you guys think

that sounds like a good idea to me, as i am also limited to height.
