Needing help. Finally ran into my first major issue that I was hoping to avoid. Algae in reservoir. I used a clear tub with a white lid and it's inside the tent which i know in hindsight was not a good idea, and this morning when I checked ph I couldn't hear air flowing from stones I pulled them up and they were 100% coated in a slimy algae. I want to stop this before it's an issue but I have 25 minutes of light left. Anyone please advise? Ph rises each day from 5.5-7.5 as it has cycled the majority of the grow. The algae formation doesn't seem to be driving the ph in either direction

Also worth adding that roots visible from bottom of hugo grodan cubes still look healthy

Some how block the light, black totes and lids would be one simple example.
White lids from current culture for example are so thick light does not get through.
Ph rising could be a few different reasons.
Bleach or some other sterile option should mitigate the green until you stop the light from leaking in.

Next run I'm going to be stepping up my reservoir system, been really interested in the auto watering systems with external reservoir. Another problem contributing to my issue is my reservoir and substrate temp stay pretty high with the mostly sealed tent. I assume my ph rise is lack of reservoir capacity and burning through my nitrates during veg and stretch as the plants seem healthy and are already getting dank mid week 2 flower. Just trying to stay ahead of things
