there's a few sprays in this book. some preventative info too
3 Tbls baking soda
1 Tbls murpys oil soap
1 gallon water

I'm not familiar with the oil soap, I've heard the name and see it's natural. anyone here use this in their grow game?
In laboratory studies, baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) was ineffective against powdery mildew. POTASSIUM bicarbonate was effective, but I don't think it wise to be spraying anything on cannabis in the later stages of flowering. Even milk sketches me out. The treatments being marketed aren't for cannabis except for things like Suffoil-X and Milstop by Bioworks. The issue is during the later stages of flowering the sugar leaves snug against the flower provide the perfect environmental conditions for powdery mildew once they are no longer being treated. The ONLY thing I haven't tried is Trichoderma.
A year old thread.
Yeah I get it, but I didnt have powdery mildew a year ago, but I do now and I have been fighting it for 5 months. My landscaper didn't clean up the yard properly causing PM from landscaped flowers into my grow. And I am beginning to understand, with cannabis, your options are limited and none of them are truly desirable. I even washed all the mildew off 4 plants, waited a week and harvested. Everywhere the mildew was, was dead. So, on cannabis, nothing works to help with PM in late flowering. Its a hard truth. Rip the band aid off, restart. Clean like you have never cleaned. Then clean it again. Maybe it will go away, I've done it before. But if youre in flowering, do yourself the favor of starting over, I wish I had. I just hope I haven't turned my grow space into a permanent mildew incubator.

Probably not, but there is always something to be learned from every thread, no matter how old! Resurrecting old threads is far from being the end of the world!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’
Yeah, thatโ€™s rough! It just seems kind of rare that an indoor grow suffers from p.m.! Usually itโ€™s outdoors getting slaughtered! I think a guy tried 99% iso and Water mixed 50-50! With some degree of success! I would test it on a bud first to make sure it doesnโ€™t melt the tri-combs! I donโ€™t think it did when he did it! But I always want to test things first! But Iso and water, evaporate, pretty clean! Just another two cents! Good luck!

I actually have some of that. What dilution ratio did you use? Did you notice any damage to the plant from spraying it?
I've seen it destroy/spray burn plants, to be safe i spray in complete darkness and rinse it off with pH 6.1 water after 3 hours @ 1/2 cup a gallon. I havent used it in years because if the plants don't dry up before light/sun hits it they will burn. It does work really well though. Soaps and sulfur are my preference the bugs don't develop an immunity to suffocating and the fungus can't spread over sulfur, both are pesti/fungicides
