THose are looking outstanding bro!! You are gonna have some bushes asap!!

I was wanting larger plants this run, but I just may have gone a little overboard...LOL There may be some large ladies donated to fellow caregivers just so I don't overcrowd the rest... I've got 6-8" of stretch on many plants just since friday; the 4 tall phenos of the Dream have stretched almost a foot in all directions. I'm guessing this harvest will be slightly larger than the last...

Thanks everyone for the immoral support! Hope to have some fantastic bud pics in a couple weeks.

The Blueberry Bed

The Blueberry is coming along as well... under metal halide, so not switching to bloom mode as fast. That's fine with me; they are bushing out more than stretching (common with indica-dominant), so I'm happy with the soil bed so far. Here's the progression:

The day of transplant to bed and bloom

This morning

100_0357.JPG

There was an unfortunate gap in the middle of the bed; it would be a shame to waste the hot spot of the lamp. So, a little training will fill 'er in nicely.

By the way, the soil bed contains nothing but Ocean Forest, Great White, dolomite lime, and whole feeder goldfish. Hygrozyme will be added when I can afford it.Wrestling with the notion to add a bloom booster, but going to hold off unless they show deficiencies. I can absolutely not overfeed these ladies because there is no way to flush excess ferts. 100% organic nutes should help avoid those issues. The final flush will simply consist of using nothing but pure water at 8.0 pH the last 2 weeks. Watch what happens... :character0113:

Explosive even. I have never been able to find anyone who's ever heard of it except for the cool ass mofo I got it from, and his friends. I guess the strain is known & grown somewhere in the realm where FF nutes and soil are made...
It is a hungry bitch, and a veg monster. Haven't had smoke yet.
I'm not really familiar with the strain but it comes highly recommended (pun intended) and is an easy grow. I suspect it's gonna be a leafy trim job, but it frosts heavy early in the budding cycle and I'm looking forward to testing product.
I threw a struggling 8" clone in the blueberry bed with sushi; we'll see if she can keep pace with the larger blueberry indica. She's the one in the 2nd pic right in front of the one I pinned. Update in a week.

Update 1-30

The garden is just about done with the initial stretch- now most of the height I gain should be COLAS :) No major issues; some ladies were showing slight P/K deficiencies until I used some bloom nutrients on them. I have calyxes turning into buds. The soft-core bud porn should be coming shortly.

100_0426.JPG

Still using a metal halide on the soil bed; can you tell?

100_0427.JPG

Some of the sativa-pheno Dream have gotten tall; not sure if these are going to yield much yet. I can vouch for the quality, though, if not the quantity :)

100_0431.JPG

The Blueberry is done stretching (LOL) and focused on flower production. Developing a nice little canopy.

Budder up

We're getting signs of dank. No trichome production yet to speak of on most of the gals, but pistils are popping out all over, like little spiky hairdos... They always remind me of those stupid trolls with the big hair that went on the end of your pencil... I swear I didn't have any...just the girls in my elementary school...LOL Enough, here's pics:

Indica Dream(s)

100_0436.JPG

Blewberry ( I like setting the white balance to make these look blue, since it IS in the name after all).

100_0438.JPG

DMI- the unknown indica. She's about half way through flowering. Not the killer trichome production I like to serve up, but in all fairness, her bloom cycle was interrupted for a few days, 2 weeks into bloom. We'll save the final judgment for another plant of this strain, one that got an uninterrupted life cycle.

Overall, the ladies are looking healthy and productive. I'm looking forward to what the next few weeks produce, and so are my patients. Peace

The Purple HeadKnocker got caught in a blizzard last night, evidently. She's the first strain to start showing vigorous trichome production. The other strains are starting to bud up well; just waiting for some resin production to start. Also need a charger cord for my better camera for sweet closeups. Will post pics around week's end; brace yourselves. LOL!

Bummer you couldn't keep some of that awesome Pandora's Box! :)

Do you have room to caregive for individuals? I grow my own dwarves (like I mentioned when I dropped off the PB), so it's enough for my vaping, but I might start making that PTO, so then I'll need to find a couple of pounds of good trim here and there, eventually. Haven't talked to Brian about it, so don't know if he'd be able to help me or not. If he couldn't, could you?

BTW, my autos are shorter than I would like ... how do you get them to stretch?

Ok campers, for reasons explained in my last grow diary, I am starting a new grow log. Here's what I'm starting with. This is a legal Colorado medical grow for patients, by patients.

100_0312.JPG

The hardware; vent systems in place, and I locate ballasts up high on the wall for better efficiency (cooler) and to keep cords off the ground. During the summer, the ballasts are located outside the garden to keep the heat down.

100_0311.JPG

This is my little clone room; roughly 2x4 lit by T5s.

Purple Head Knocker

The strains that made the move with me include:
Sour Grape Haze
Purple Haze
AK-47
Purple Head Knocker
Super Silver Haze
White Roman (White Widow x Romulan)
Purple Kush
Blueberry (DJ Short cut)
Jah Kush
Blackberry Kush
Unknown Indica (looking strong; patient-donated)
and of course, the Dream (my 17-year old seed strain)

I also have beans to pop- the Maple/Mr Nice cross that is excellent, Zilvermist (Kali Mist x SSH; All-Star Genetics), Kaligria (Kali Mist x Alegria; All-Star Genetics), and Rocket Gal (from Medic).
I am also being forced to re-start the Great White test thread; fortunately I was only about 2 weeks into it.
Thanks for dropping by; I hope to have some bud porn for ya in a few short weeks.

Our friend said I can get some PB from him any time. I hate to bug him, tho, his health has been bad recently. My buddy in Cherry Creek has beans, so I'll run up and grab some from him probably, when I have room for a new strain. I'd be happy to be your cg, but it's not necessary. Probably a touchy subject anyhow with "he who won't be mentioned". If you're unhappy with their service or product, feel free to holler. I have absolutely no experience with auto-flowering strains, but I imagine the more light it gets, the better. There are auto-flower threads here; try a search to get better advice than I could give you :) I'd be happy to help you out with the raw materials when you're ready to get rolling. Thanks for stopping by!! (when the bud pics go up, you may be ready to switch your cg, hehe). I hope you're feeling well and having a great night!

UKI. This is an (U)n(K)nown (I)ndica. Turned out pretty good.

Pardon the trim job. After seeing the close-up, I touched 'er up a little...hehe. My back is not cooperating with my to-do list very well.

looking good bro...

whats your favorite strain that you are currently running?

I haven't smoke-tested several of the strains I am currently running, so I can't tell you fairly which is my favorite to puff. I do like the SGH for daytime medicating, it provides happy, non-energy-zapping pain relief. The Rocky Mtn Dream is the tastiest and strongest smoke- easily, but you better clear your schedule for a couple hours. On the cultivation side, again, the RMD is a pleasure to grow for the most part. It frosts early and heavy, showing the power of the dream, but I need to grow using different techniques to find a way to make 'er yield heavier. I think just a longer veg time for the indica pheno, and mucho training for the sativa dom. Going to LST a couple sativa dreams on the next run.
To be honest, I'm going to have to reserve final judgment until my current run is finished. I also have some stellar genetics that I just popped a couple weeks ago; those have me truly excited.

WOWWWWWW!!!!!! Great bud shots! I have a funny feeling I WILL be changing CGs before too much longer! Got blood drawn Monday and should have results tomorrow. Will be interesting to see if the PTO has helped, cancer-wise ... I KNOW it has put 10 pounds on my emaciated frame in 10 months! That, alone, was worth the price of admission ... but I'll be sure to let you know what I find out!
