Ok campers, for reasons explained in my last grow diary, I am starting a new grow log. Here's what I'm starting with. This is a legal Colorado medical grow for patients, by patients.

The hardware; vent systems in place, and I locate ballasts up high on the wall for better efficiency (cooler) and to keep cords off the ground. During the summer, the ballasts are located outside the garden to keep the heat down.

This is my little clone room; roughly 2x4 lit by T5s.

Purple Head Knocker

The strains that made the move with me include:
Sour Grape Haze
Purple Haze
AK-47
Purple Head Knocker
Super Silver Haze
White Roman (White Widow x Romulan)
Purple Kush
Blueberry (DJ Short cut)
Jah Kush
Blackberry Kush
Unknown Indica (looking strong; patient-donated)
and of course, the Dream (my 17-year old seed strain)

I also have beans to pop- the Maple/Mr Nice cross that is excellent, Zilvermist (Kali Mist x SSH; All-Star Genetics), Kaligria (Kali Mist x Alegria; All-Star Genetics), and Rocket Gal (from Medic).
I am also being forced to re-start the Great White test thread; fortunately I was only about 2 weeks into it.
Thanks for dropping by; I hope to have some bud porn for ya in a few short weeks.

I was tuned into your other thread and saw that you had stopped it. Glad you were able to get things moved and going again.

The girls are looking great I will be pulling up a seat on this one.

Peace, Hippi

Tomorrow we bloom...

Well, this garden is well-packed, and I'm going to run out of room when these ladies explode during the bloom cycle. I'm planning to cull any stragglers, as I have just taken clones and I have a few plants in veg that'll be ready soon. Every one of these plants is labeled as to what type it is, the patient it's being grown for, and an individual moniker for duplicates. The 13 Dream plants are labeled 1-13, and I've taken 3 clones from each.

A nice canopy

My only use for a hydro rez these days... a nice soil bed full of DJ Short's Blueberry. I had to get creative so the soil would drain properly without having to drill drain holes in the rez.

I have opted to bloom this entire room at once, starting tomorrow at noon. Looking forward to what turns out. Stay tuned for flower pics...

I love the new diggs... :cool0010: Great Skillz Brah!!! Can you tell me more about the soil bed? I need to clear a lot of small plants from my veg station to make room for seedlings and I'd like to save space from several pots...

Some damn nice looking stuff there bro. You've got a very nice genetic selection, your patients must be much happier these days than before having met you.

3 days into bloom

I'm already seeing some stretch; some strains will be towering over others here in a week or two. This will require some re-arranging of the plants. No worries, as I give each one a few minutes of individual attention every day. I think I know how the old woman in the shoe must have felt.

Purple Haze- clones from the same mother are growing a little differently; I think due to pot size, for one thing.

Purple Kush. No idea what cut; but it originated in Norcal a while back...

This Purple HeadKnocker is one of the healthiest plants in my garden. It arrived in poor shape, but was given the "sushi treatment". The only nutrients given to this little lady were whole feeder goldfish and dolomite lime, until the first day of bloom, when I gave her a little dose of Bud Blood. She is beautifully colored and I'm looking forward to trying this local legend from Norcal. I think the name of the strain is also one of the best I've heard...

The day of the transplant; she was already looking a little better than when she arrived.

This is her, three days into bloom. What a gorgeous girl!

Wow very excited for the finished product. Do you incorporate LST? It looks very useful and efficient but so do LEDs....

lol, good point...

Wow very excited for the finished product. Do you incorporate LST? It looks very useful and efficient but so do LEDs....

I have never really had the luxury of a large veg room or the patience to use my bloom room to veg, so no, I haven't used the circular LST technique. YET. I do occasionally bend plants over and/or tie them down in order to get more light to bud sites. LEDs are not up to speed yet; but imagine if they were...oh, and priced reasonably. LOL.
If you lived nearby you'd be even more excited, LOL. I'm not a stingy caregiver... :party0044:

I have always thought about that, if they could make LED more powerful without increasing the energy use too much they would be perfect. I am from Idaho and will be on my way back in the summer so maybe i'll change my route to include colorado...
