the breeze says its most likely for the dispensaries and shops(unlimited plant count)dont know for sure, but would be nice if it carries over to the med law as well.

im up for a suppliers/growers license, but from what i hear the guys in place are gonna get first come first served. everyone else get in line.

I might get back into the mainstream game with huge numbers...a suppliers/growers license would be killer or even grindin it out in some big rooms again would be a kick after a few years off the grid

Unlimited plant counts, growers license and JG promising nirvana. Will believe this when I see it. I don't think the sources opposing all marijuana activities will allow this to happen. Why not just open HONEST ED'S MARIJUANA EMPORIUM in your garage. Just keep on pushing the envelope and it will FORCE the feds into action. Selling pot out of a grocery bag at the park just isn't going to happen. At least not without a free ride downtown for a night in the crowbar hotel.

Cuz my garage isn't big enough...lol

Sure its all wishfull thinkin but stranger things have happened, we are all just makin blind speculations at this point but one thing is for sure, they are goin to do something. All Im sayin is I am fluid enough to be able to react to what ever comes down from above...if they say I can get a growers license, pay a ton of money in fees, taxes and setup a warehouse grow to sell back into the commercial 64 market system, I'm in, not really that big of a deal to me, I was licensed before and had few active entities in the industry, it was just to much of an unknown to keep it up and I got burned out...no ones talkin about slingin trash bags of weed in the park maing although that is a funny visual..

Fortunately everyone agreeing on something isn't how government works, so after they get done tuggin and pullin back and forth, givin and takin, from one side then the other...its more of a bipartisan arm wrestle'n match where no one gets exactly what they want..but it still becomes law

Cats out of the bag, Ammendment 64 already passed...lol..back in November...hammerin out the framework only benifits everyone and thats all thats happenin

Just wish we had a clear set of rules to follow. Been doing this a while now and everything is so ambiguous. Don't know whether I'm coming or going. I know he is speculating as well but every time I get my red card renewed the guy tells me something different. Now he says plant counts aren't the issue, its documentation. What's next? Everything in our government has gotten to be so complicated nothing can get accomplished.

Just lookin at plant counts from a practical side, if you eliminate the requirement for the enforcement arm of the MED to go out and count individual plants and reconcile those against drivers licenses like they would have to do under the medical requirments..which makes no since..maybe they put a cap on total output, like 100lbs a month output or 200lbs or 1000lbs who knows.. That is way more trackable then chasin clones and plants and some arbitrary plant number and really all that is for anyway is to fine you if your in violation, there is no criminal act at all..they created a fine schedule for every related mmj violation at the commercial level so all in all its just revenue..

With 15 employees they are goin to be eliminating alot of stuff that requires state resources to accomplish

Thats why I had to get off grid for bit, it made me crazy and had alot on money in play with no idea as to what was happenin or goin to happen...like you say, hopefully we get some kind of clear rules or guideline out of the deal

Obviously we are a very diversified group here. I'm not in it for the $$ so much as the fun of doing something I really believe in and enjoy. Maybe if I was 20 years younger. I hope that I will be allowed to keep doing what gives me enjoyment in my later years. I also hope that the masters on here are able to continue growing and cultivating new and interesting strains so I can mooch them off of you guys.
Seriously, just give us a set of guidelines that are in line with what the voters of Colorado wanted. And please do it before I have my ashes are spread across the Rock Mountains.

No redcard renewal for me. I have decided that being on a fucking list that is not private is not a good thing. I see it as a sitting duck position. Same goes for all those caregivers, potshop owners and their working staff. (and btw, that redcard list? Even though I will let it expire it's sticks on my background check for 3 years)

And that same list will be probable cause for the new DUI-MJ enforcement.

The pigs do the same thing in regards to CCW (Concealed Carry permits) and when they pull you over and do a background check, up pops your CCW status, prior convictions, warrants, etc. The pigs pulling up your redcard status is "discretionary" which basically means they can do whatever they want.

I don't give a fuck what they do with 64 and all the other bullshit because none of it will give us any REAL freedoms. No matter what the "law" is or will be, they will still bust your ass and make you battle it out in the courts.

So instead of getting busted for a roach in your car, now you'll get a nice big fat DUI-D. I told you folks this was going down because my cop/sheriff "buddies" told me they have been training to ramp this up once 64 passed.

Feeling free yet?

and for the records, I don't see any "secret" states laws that are in the works that will change one fucking thing, and especially at the federal levels as they will never back off. But hey, keep dreaming. I'd love to be harassed should I be wrong. :)

Sorry can't pass this up. We have GJ telling us that we are going to be freed from oppression, kolah telling us that the sky is falling and TK ready to fire up the boilers for another ride on Carnival Curse Lines. Get ready for the toilets to plug up.

I know ya'll probably don't beleive it but I'm not in it for the money at all, it doesn't suck but its not my primary motivation...I just like growin and growin at a scale that isn't legal outside the commercial side of things...if you grow at that scale on a personal level. big problems, trust me..

If some one pays my electric bill and tooses me some KFC every once in awhile Im good...lol

Its funny how people react differently to different things, the day after I got hemmed up by the law, I doubled my efforts and went balls to the wall and I have friends that shut down at even the threat of legal issues or problems....I never said i was sane though, far from it..

TK you have balls the size of an elephant. I hope all things work out for you in your dealings with the powers that be. Also, hope your electric bills are paid and you have all the Fried Chicken you can eat. Be safe.

there will probably be some ass backward rules with the growers licenses. Like any who has ever seen marijuana pre-A64 will NOT be allowed to be within 10000ft of a grow. Just watch. There are some evil people writing these laws.

I'm personally not getting my hopes up. I had my hopes up pre hb1284.....then reality set in haha

That has be laffing my ass off, lol. Good post, Putembk.

seriously though..as I said before.... I HOPE I am wrong. But I doubt it. :)

Yep, I agree, no way will they let us "play" They've got way too much time, effort, money, blood, sweat, tears, etc... to let the little guys back in the door. And, honestly, when I see all the B.S. my ex-business partner who got my share of the Dispensary I was with pre HB-1284, I am kind of glad I got out when I did. Running a Dispo is no fun, neither is running a 300 light grow, I don't think my buddy has watered a plant in 18 months...... he's got people for everything, all he does is manage people...... and all those people have big egos...... what a pain in the ass!

I guess if you want to make 60K for a job if you did it on your own you'd get 200K for, you might be happy working at a grow!

so they are already over 30% in total tax and they are goin to have a special election for one more special excise tax so in total it will be in excess of 30% in taxes.

Non residence can only buy 1/8th(3.5 grams) at a time and residence can only buy a 1/4(7 grams) at a time.

Votin on vertical integration on Monday..that one is the real intriguing one

^^^^^
Proof vertical integration is a JOKE. One of two things happening here.
1.) growers can't sell meds to shops legally so they can claim $$$ legally and pay taxes like we did pre-hb1284....and have no other option but to sell on black market
or
2.) "legal MMJ warehouse" that can't move inventory in their storefront are selling multiple 10-packs out the back door....or legal mmj warehouse is growing such low quality "meds" they can't sell meds legally in Colorado and have to send four 10-packs out of state

granted I'm a pee-on and don't know nobody in the grand scheme of things......but in my little experience in this industry, I'd be willing to bet those 40 lbs came out of a warehouse and not a grow tent. Also remember, this is 2013, and I doubt that was coming from Cali

That's basement grow quantities out here not really warehouse action....the even goofier thing to me is that they will all get probation..the Beachcraft, Saab, and the weed are gone but that's about it..the volume these cats can crank out of the basement is way more than they can or even try to flip locally and most of them have there old contacts back in their state of birth or whatever and they get $4000-$5000 minimum a lb, twice as much money is quite a motivator for most cats...typically you wouldn't want to risk a plane, cars, or prison for anything less than 50-100lbs

Your first point is absolutely correct, loved the 1099 days
