Whats goin on everyone. New to this forum. Been looking around a lot waiting for people to start using this and trying to do research on terpinator. I started running it about 8 weeks ago on my girls. it has definitely made quite a difference in my opinion and i will continue to use it. Each strain i have used it on has retained its terpine profile so far, not dryed and cured yet but so far its really pushing my plants oil production. Some of the leaves have folded and stuck together like little tacos because of all of the oil. Not saying its a miricle product but it is helping my oil production hands down. i am interested in seeing what the hash that is made from this round will be like. Im currently running it on reserva privada colorado hurricane, and rpc citrix, clone only GSC, and a homies strain call )ed Nookie ( GSC x Chemdog #4 OG ). Heres some shots. If anyone has any questions i can help as much as i can, but all i know is what ive seen in the past 8 week. Keep it irie.

And yes I know this is my first post, but I'm just searching for info and this tread happened to come up. If I'm searching for info I'm sure there are others the more people talk about it the quicker we can get to the truth. I am interested to see a seasoned grow master give this a whirl and then have an honest opinion. So bash away if needed :blackeye:. Keep it irie.

Curious where that comment is coming from..
Is there some documentation that I have missed that explains Botanicare as having arsenic in it?? MSDS perhaps? PM me the info if you have it please. No intentions on muddling up this thread about terpinator.

Bump.

Arsenic can be found naturally on earth in small concentrations. It occurs in soil and minerals and it may enter air, water and land through wind-blown dust and water run-off. Arsenic in the atmosphere comes from various sources: vulcanoes release about 3000 tonnes per year and microorganisms release volatile methylarsines to the extent of 20.000 tonnes per year, but human activity is responsible for much more: 80.000 tonnes of arsenic per year are released by the burning of fossil fuels.

Despite its notoriety as a deadly poison, arsenic is an essential trace element for some animals, and maybe even for humans, although the necessary intake may be as low as 0.01 mg/day.
Arsenic is one of the most toxic elements that can be found. Despite their toxic effect, inorganic arsenic bonds occur on earth naturally in small amounts. Humans may be exposed to arsenic through food, water and air. Exposure may also occur through skin contact with soil or water that contains arsenic.
Levels of arsenic in food are fairly low, as it is not added due to its toxicity. But levels of arsenic in fish and seafood may be high, because fish absorb arsenic from the water they live in. Luckily this is mainly the fairly harmless organic form of arsenic, but fish that contain significant amounts of inorganic arsenic may be a danger to human health.

Arsenic exposure may be higher for people that work with arsenic, for people that live in houses that contain conserved wood of any kind and for those who live on farmlands where arsenic-containing pesticides have been applied in the past.

Exposure to inorganic arsenic can cause various health effects, such as irritation of the stomach and intestines, decreased production of red and white blood cells, skin changes and lung irritation. It is suggested that the uptake of significant amounts of inorganic arsenic can intensify the chances of cancer development, especially the chances of development of skin cancer, lung cancer, liver cancer and lymphatic cancer.

A very high exposure to inorganic arsenic can cause infertility and miscarriages with women, and it can cause skin disturbances, declined resistance to infections, heart disruptions and brain damage with both men and women.
Finally, inorganic arsenic can damage DNA.

A lethal dose of arsenic oxide is generally regarded as 100 mg.

Has anyone used compared Terpinator vs Canna Boost / Snowstorm Ultra / Yellow Bottle Final?

It seems like the most common ingredient for these "finishers" is triacontanol. The terpinator website doesn't contain any information and the MSDS doesn't contain all the components of the product.

I've heard the rep from terpinator say that snowstorm can be used in conjuction with terpinator because they play on different mechanisms to encourage resin production. I think that the snowstrom product tricks the plant into resin production by simulation of a fungal attack.

If your judging by the label almost every nutrient would be the same...you know how many different additives just say .6% mag or whatever else they choose to list....the fact is that every state requires the labels to meet a certain standard, a company can't make a different label for each state. They are forced find a label that passes for every state and use it, only problem is that by the time they find a label that works everywhere its missing most of the ingredients. Its very stupid, life would be much easier if every bottle had to list all nutrients used. The way its setup now makes it easy for companies to rip people off. They basically tell us "trust us its all in there"...sorry but the last person I would trust is someone trying to sell me a product in the hydroponics industry, they have proven time and time again that they are untrustworthy. Chris farley said it best, "I can shit in a box and stick a guarantee label on it, but that just means I sold you a guaranteed piece of shit"

just check out the washington state fertilizer data base..calmag is botanicares cleanest product..
all of their products have lead, aresnic, etc,,i doubt its enough to cause health problems, but compare it to canna or genhydro and its one of the reasons i dont like botanicare products..

Just checked out the website. Looks like every company has arsenic in their products.

Also looks like all of these products meet WA health safety standards as well.

As stated in my above post, arsenic is found natural as an organic earth substance. Its the inorganic element one needs to be concerned over. Organic arsenic can also cause health problems, its just usually not found in high enough concentrations to pose a risk. Either way, its a substance you would like to minimize exposure to. Some fish contain high levels of arsenic and metals yet we still eat them, and people wonder how humans mysteriously show signs of cancer without smoking. These illnesses are from substances taken into our bodies that we are still learning about and some we don't even know....personally, knowing that arsenic is one of the most toxic elements on earth, I would choose not to use products that WE KNOW contain this dangerous toxin.. its bad enough we are already breathing in this polluted air...
