To carry on early identification of gender. Here is a male.

OK we have 9 females plus 1 i gave away already. I'm gonna keep 3 BFT and 3 HBMC based on structure. Pic possibly later tonight. All sexed as of yesterday and have been confirmed. It was 3/7 HBMC female because the 3 light burned i pitched. 7/10 BFT female. 4 days after flip.

Wasn't that the name of a horror flick, The Chosen? 🤣

Frickin' killin' this soil stuff. You'd almost think these plants have been growing in soil from the dawn of history.😜
I believe it was. I'm hoping the girls are nice to me. From the males I ripped out there is still Lotsa room in those pots so should be ok... I hope.

I had my share of mishaps but starting to settle in and get comfortable with it now. As long as I manage to keep the nutrients in line I'm hoping no more issues now that they are in flower.

Plants chugging along bud onset not as big or fast as I anticipated but they are there. Stretch is not to bad. Tops sitting about 65k lux

Looks lovely.

And i still dont think just a short course of bloom nutes would make any difference in a peat mix grow to bud onset from a phosphorous boost. Too much nutes still held ruin the ratio change I would think.

Unless you flush heavy end of veg maybe.

I also dont see why faster bud onset would be better for anything but faster cycle. I stopped using bloom nutes to extend the cycle so the plants have more time to reach their potential.

Just my opinion from my own tests. :-)

Yeah figured I would try it in soil. Definately seen preflowers earlier. These are 9-10 week I think so maybe that's part of it..most likely like you said hard to change the ratio in the soil but either way they are healthy so far so I'm happy.

You should be happy. Its looking seriously great.

I don't know I've been doing the nutrient change for quit sometime and I'm convinced it makes a different in bud onset, but for best results i think it goes hand and hand with a few other steps as well. So when I change from my veg, mix to flower mix personally I like to do it 4-5 days before flip, My mix changes but my ratio's don't that much and not in a way that will hurt me. Now I run 6 or more different formulas depending on setup and what I'm growing but here is an example in veg. n-p 1-.57 n-k 1-1.49 k-Ca -Mg 1-.6-.29 flower n-p 1-1.21 n-k 1-1.85 k-Ca -Mg 1-.49-.26 S stays right about the same, but as you can see my ratio's reflect the added p and k but other wise stay pretty much the same even though my mix changes a fair bit. I'm also a firm believer, that light cycle and temps play apart, and I think you can get pretty creative with both, as they will trigger a quicker bud onset. For me the quicker the onset and the quicker the bud growth = bugger, more dense , more resinous, flavorful buds in the end

By the way Aqua looking good

Appreciate the info bro. never grown these strains. I did see an absolute change in preflower. Will see how the onset goes 8 days I see them all over but just was thinking a bit bigger.

I've started topdressing with fish bone meal (3-16-0) once about a couple weeks before flip and just adding the same amount of nutes that I would with each feeding.

Also yeah, I might have to copy that brilliant grow space.
