And I do the same thing as she does, except I have a 4 person camping tent for veg, and a 4x4x7 tent for flower... same watt lights.. works flawlessly. Grow4me runs out of space. I unfortunately haven't had that prob yet..( her plants are bigger....) :)

Sweet setup! I'm gonna get another tent before these go into flower. i wanna start a cloning cycle on some awesome genetics I just picked up. I see you have the same size T5 as I so that gave me confidence to expand :). I have 2x300 watt LED's for flower.. hoping that does well.. I also bought some 3000k bulbs for the t5... can only help, no?

Hey man! Dude, I never thought to use a camping tent! Thats a darn good idea! Only thing I'd be worried about is light leaks in flower, but you use it for veg so... cool!

Some update photos! The Cali Haze is growing quite awesome. the Gorilla Glue already has a root 4" out the bottom of the pot! Less foliage production, but I think the SUPER Auto is showing her colors. Short Stuff got some solid genetics on this 1. Check out my solution to keepin' my air pump cool :). doin a pretty darn good job!

Question: Is it normal for like kinda dirt to be in there? no slime, it's just brown...

yea. the roots are pearly but like, it almost looks like the pellet dust color. you think it might be? nothing slimy just looks dirty... I did rinse but idk

Yes you got dust from the hydroton. i battled it for 5 weeks, changing the water every week. This time I spent 3 days washing my hydroton. You couldn't believe the sludge in the bottom of the tote after sitting 2 days, then rinsed, and washed them again and sat for another day, then rinsed with strainer... No dust at all now... shit makes the water look dirty. I like mine clean!

ok cool. I appreciate the reassurance. I was like WHAT THE HECK MAN!? lol, I had a seriously bad issue with root rot my first hydro grow. Turned 5/8 plants hermie... 8" roots on 41/2' plants.. not good. but.. with the graces of THC Farmers.. This grow is destined for big things! I can't believe the roots coming out of the gorilla glue.. friggin nuts hahaha.. 13 days and they're coming out the sides, multiple out the bottom... I'm a happy farmer :)

im stunned at how quick they're sproutin'! first run of dwc. I had a top feed system last round that did ok, but way too much crap going on. i love the simplicity of this build. buckets n air essentially.. love it.

question... may be stupid, but I appreciate the info. Do I have to keep the rockwool damp? roots are in the water.. I keep throwing a little on there everyday but... idk. there's a little algae growing prob just snuff it out with a cover

I MOST DEF WOULDN'T! Water around the outside a little to spread the roots horizontally but not the rockwool... Rw is a bitch.. will cause root rot.. The Rw was just to Germinate. .. It's done it's job...
