Seems like a good day for an update!

I transplanted the last4 solo cup plants into 2 gal fabric pots and it dawned on me that I neglected photos of what the other 4 looked like under the outer solo cup. Also I remember musing about how the transplant went. Well in short it was excellent and I didn’t even notice any stall at all. I expect nothing less from these. Here are pics of the root balls. Very nice and healthy. For anyone looking for an easy way to transplant I highly recommend these solo cup instant transplants. They take about 1 minute to make and damn they work
@Rdub do you level them in the cup?

I’ve had worse! Lol sorry just catching up on this thread , I runnin autos in pro mix
I suppose it’s time I post pics of the original 5 plants. I’m not really very thrilled with my results. I know I made a few mistakes along the way but I also think that maybe these seeds just aren’t very vigorous growers. They were about the cheapest autos I could find. I also started playing with my light height a bit the last few weeks and came to the conclusion that I was no where near the sweet spot. Live and learn I guess. Anyway here they are....be gentle

I’ve really liked these fabric containers so far, other than hand watering gets a little cumbersome. The plants do seem to be healthier in them than in my autopots. Perhaps because they get watered to run off. I am somewhat invested in the autopots at this point so I’m gonna run them for another little while see if I can resolve my issues . I may start putting together an auto drip system too though. I also debated on pro mix vs coco/perlite for this grow but I did coco my last grow and I kind of want to get it right before switching things up again to much

Part of my problem is to much experimenting ! Lmao
I’ve had the same problem with other hobbies and projects in my life. So I’m learning from, what I perceive as a mistake, and trying to apply it to this. It’s been hard though because it’s not typically “me”

Update time with pics, yay!! 5 of my plants are real close to harvest. They all look like hell but the buds look and smell really nice so I’m happy overall. One thing I’ve noticed is that on all three runs of my plants grown in autopots have had weird leaf colorings, slow growth, etc. on the flip side the plants I’m hand watering in the fabric pots are just wonderful looking. I may retire the autopots for a bit and just hand water. Anyway here they are.

Harvest day for the first plant. The other 4 will be in the next 1-2 weeks as they finish. For the small stature these things produced some big dense buds. What started out as a "throw away" grow really blossomed into something beautiful. I had to resize the photos to upload them so I hope they turn out ok

Harvest day for plant #2 . This plant grew, smelled and look drastically different than the other 4. Maybe a different pheno. Maybe a different strain altogether, who knows 🤔. It was also quite a bit more difficult to trim it certainly was more bud than the last plant but not quite as dense.

I'm running into a bit of a problem though. My drying tent is 62% rh and 70 degrees. Moving the tent really isn't an option. There is lots of airflow in the tent though and the first plant seems to be fine. I'm thinking its fine as long as I keep up airflow. Has anyone successfully dried at that high a rh?

Well for anyone that cared the rh was fine and the plants are on to curing lol. Its been awhile since I posted an update of the tent running quantum boards. The 4 plants in the middle are automotive and the 8 on the outside are handwatered in 2 gallon fabric pots. This side by side was very eye opening. In my limited experience, bottom fed systems just can't compare. I think I'll be setting up a dripper system for my mephisto run. Get the benefits of more automation with a top water system.

Fabric or air pruning pots are the way to go. I have seen much large root systems in mine. Current run of autos. N.L. in front there.

Even the diy ones I made are great.
Last run. Northern lights auto

What is the total grow cycle for an auto? And do you run the same light cycle as veg all the way through to harvest? Interested. Thanks.

80~ days give or take. Ive been running my quantum board tent 18/6 the entire time. My 5x5 tent I started on 20/4 then switched back to 18/6 to save on electricity

Believe mine came in at just under 80 by a few days. But I didn't have microscope at that time to check trichomes, have one now so can get better dialed in.
I have run mine on 20/4 always. I run all LED so not big difference on bill really. Only running 3-4 at a time though.
