First and foremost, I started this thread as a journal because I was not going to keep one this grow. The seed I received should never have been germinated. That being said I think I solved an issue. The small growth on one side could be because it's still at 200ppm while the stalks and larger growth is at 300ppm or higher. I've seen it eat up to 530ppm. Once I kept adding plain water the ppms dropped and I got good growth on all the small stuff and the stalk did not grow. Now my pH needs recalibrated or is broke but I won't know till after Christmas.

Good news is I'm pretty good with the droplet testing kit. Me with my bad eyes can do a color and just about nail 5.5 - 6.0 depending what I want. Bad news, I'll have to test it by hand too many times to count throughout a day.

you can try the enzymes you have and see how they work, but if you have rez issues i used only z7 since im in canada, Z9 for US. than you only need ph down/up to set the proper ph.
no more rez problems and you can focus on creating trees lol!

No, I have no rez issues. I swap buckets every 5 to 7 days with a clean bleached bucket. Well the pH fluctuates because of the acidic well water. Other than that it's what stage is this because it didn't really eat till 3 weeks ago.

Plant is doing great since I went by pH color but I don't know the exact number just that it's between 5.5 and 5.8. I think the lower end of 5.5.

If the droplets before shaking are reddish and after shake it's yellowish then you've got gold. If it's green before and yellowish green after shake it's too high for hydro or right around 6.

Reddish/orange ± yellow is hydro
Green + greenish yellow a.k.a. Chartreuse is soil.

Merry Christmas everyone. Thanks for the help and here's what your help accomplished. 3 different flower sites all looking not bad. The twist could be light or when it grew in under strong nutes. Either way looking great and I've got 8 more days or 75 degree weather. Plenty of fresh air and some major growth.

Thanks again Merry Christmas.

It's official the plant has out grown the shower. It's 3 feet tall and over 2 feet wide. I can gain a few inches light height if I pull the plant out of the tub and hook lights directly onto the shower curtain. Jan 5th 2022 is the start of 9 weeks. I will flip on 10th week if it hasn't started flowering. Truth be told plant's over 3 feet but only by 2-3 inches, that I buried half way through the grow. I'll know my pH numbers today but it's been great by eyeing it. I got a new pH pen and calibration solution arriving today. And the plant's going through a liter of water daily.

You guys helped me get a monster 👍 now I'll have to borrow a chainsaw. I'm a foot from the light at 100% which I believe is 150w, Ts1000.

1ft is to low at 100% intensity. I can see the leaves starting to get droopy looking from the intensive light. Raise it and maintain the spacing while the plant stretches'.

Thanks, I was able to get 6 more inches in height and I cut the light down to 75%. At 18" what percentage do you recommend?

was this is a auto or photo?
90% intensity is fine. you can tie something to the top head and bend it down. Just don't break it. in few days the head would come back up again but from a lower point and give you some playroom with the height. This is why i was insisting on doing your training, but you weren't listening. you also have allots of lower shrub that gets barely any light. These are all pointless and is making the plant spend its energy in areas that is not needed.

It's an auto going into flowering. I did pull the top down a couple days ago and within 2 hours it had righted it's top. Here's my bottom and my question marks. Last pic is obvious butt. Am I also taking off the fan leaves as well that go with those sites?

im not a auto guy and i don't wanna say something that would hurt at this point. @Mr.GreenthumbOG what is the procedure for an auto plant for removing shrubs. Is it same as photoperiods?

Sounds good I'll wait and yes I should have listened. You called it and I had plenty of time not to mention this plant bounces back instantly. I'll wait and thanks for the help. Happy new year.

Well I waited and decided do some removal of larf and some popcorn before it's too late.

This is the final look that plant will flower with, included a pic of the main cola too. Yes it's laying down, it's almost lights out. This plant has done that since germ. Had to move the plant back to the center of tub. I ended up taping my blackout blinds onto the shower wall to get light further down. I also rotate the plant. throughout the day.

I'm getting a free apera ph20 kit. Amazon held up my order for over a week so they're sending it free. I did, not a super crop but something between hts and lst on Saturday. I gained a couple feet space. Main cola and another off shoot are the tallest on the left side of pic.

I've been lucky but lost more than a day of grow time because not knowing what the true pH is. I also replaced bucket water with 600ppm water. Plant is taking it like a champ but it's been less than 24 hours, we'll see.
