Now that the training has begun. The bagseed are pushing harder than any of the SDXQ. They already have the 2 new nodes I want growing in as we speak.

On a side note. All 3 of the SDXQ have exhibited a similar survival response to the manifolding. They have all 3 popped 2 new Sprouts about where the Cotyledons were or slightly lower.
There is a sprout on opposing sides of each other. Almost like a new node on each one. For example.

I may leave them there for fun :D. The bagseed plots have also exhibited this response. Just their new growths are coming in slower.

Clones still looking healthy in the jacuzzi. The neoprene tops that hold the clones were too far above the water for my short cuttings. So I created my own temporary holders. Also made sure to label them so they can help me identify sex. Or if upper chamber is flowered first I'll know which clones to pull etc.

I would leave it on also just to see what it does.. :D Dam you got me wanting a Jacuzzi for my personal self now.. One day.. LOL..

Great tips and looking good!

I'm down to my last tip of my last main cola.

Looks like I need at least 2 females this round to keep me supplied until next harvest. I need 1oz per month so 3-4oz would be most ideal.

So if I get 2 or more I will be very happy. If my clones take root I can toss them in flower too . Then take new cuttings in the first couple weeks.

I may end up keeping the best SDXQ plant to populate the tent with next round. It sure would be nice to raise 1 homogenous strain 1 round lol.

We will just have to wait and see how the big bagseed turns out. For all I know it may be a keeper too.

I just know @jumpincactus doesn't have any of these SDXQ genetics left. So I figured I'd tease him with recurring grows of it .

You sir are an azz. :p LOL that shit was fire for sure. PS I love you Son.

Funny thing is ole Hammerhead got a lot of shit from peeps in here and far as I can say my experience with him was right on. Wish I knew where that dude ran off to.

I took a picture right before lights off to compare it with lights on growth with 7hrs of darkness.

Here is the outcome.

I have the day off (took yesterday and today off) for 7th anniversary (1st wedding anniversary).

Woke up before lights off to give them a feeding. They were almost dry before bedtime. I just figured I'd let em dry and water them the next day (today).

Before I fed them I trimmed off the 2 fan leaves of each plant from the original 3rd node split.

Then I took some uncut watermelon leftovers from last night left on the counter. Cut it up, blended it, strained the liquids out. Then added it to my 1.25 gallons of bubbling nutes.

I figure instead of tossing the fruit. the ladies would benefit from the natural sugars, vitamins, minerals, enzymes etc from another plant. As well as the microbes will go nuts for it.

Check out the red tint.

No picture updates until lights on. It's not a new day for the plants yet.

Happy Anniversary Friend.. :)

Plants are still looking fantastic.. Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing more plant photo's. :)

Thx @Moto

During our ceremony we were pronounced husband and wife at 4:20 :D. It wasn't intentional at all.
In fact my wife gave me the stink eye when I told her lol.

I just live a 4:20 kind of life :smoking:

This post is directed @jumpincactus .

We had a discussion about ph'ing nutes before application.

He says he likes to check and adjust before applying nutes to ensure it is proper everytime.

Being organic I believe I can aerate my brews, and not check them for days and when I add it's perfect each time. And if bubbling brings it close to neutral (7ph). The soil has the capacity to buffer it down, but not up.

So I mixed a new gallon batch of nutes last night. Added it to an existing .25gallons left. This allowed me to not need microbes added. The old ones will re populate the nutrient batch. Things added that were non traditional fertilizers (apple cider vinegar, aspirin, watermelon juice).

Today this morning after some bubbling I checked the ph via drops (they are 2nd most accurate right behind a ph pen). I have a tds&ph pen both brand new in box. I just haven't had the need to set them up, calibrate them, buy containers so they can sit in calibration fluid etc.

So here is a picture result of the ph drops analysis.

I left just a sliver of the ph6.0 yellow color in the picture for comparison.

I'm not saying what I'm doing is the right way. It just works for me. And I wanted a little bit of proof to show that I'm not just wingin it lol.

They always respond well to the feed and it makes my job a whole lot easier. I just mix a day or 2 in advance so it can bubble. I noticed adding it to an existing batch speeds up the ph rise from 4 to 6.5-7. For those who don't know earth juice lineup is very acidic (in the 4ph range). So it takes either a lot of bubbling or a lot of ph up to adjust. Why add more chemicals when you can just dissolve some more oxygen into it.

there isnt a set right or wrong way. If you get good results you need to filter out the endless myriad of ways people grow and do what works for you. I just prefer to check my Ph prior to feeding. Sense of security I guess. I have seen a lot of organic guyz and galz claim you dont need to check Ph in organics. But for me I check it each time. Now I am on board with a outdoor grow that has had many seasons to develop a good network of micros and all the critters that are well established that I might possibly defer checking Ph but as a rule I always check. But again whatever floats your boat is the way you should grow.

I do believe they need nutrients in the proper ph ranges

I agree there is no right or wrong way.
And I'm not calling you out or anything.

Just wanted assure you they do in fact get proper ph nutrients even though I told you I never ph my nutrients.... Semantics ;)

The 3rd node fan leaves were removed this morning. The removed leaves were donated to my cancer ridden friend freshly blended into a smoothie. I do what little I can.

They should be ready for next topping in the next 1-3 days.

Good stuff guys! So I bought a few packs of cherry pickers last year and threw them through flower I selected a keeper that was a herm that got by me apparently just beautiful cherry pie Dom plant perfect structure. Planted a room of candy land with a few cherries to fill a few gaps and get some smoke. Anyways I just popped about 7 candy land bag seed and about 15 picker beans. Will try and remember to take some pics tomorrow

Good morning peeps. They are still on yesterday's photoperiod. So this isn't "today's update".

Got up this morning and plants had gotten a little crazy. So I topped them all again. It was about 10 minutes before lights out.

I figured if I topped them before lights went out. They could invest their tax free growing energy on the new growth tips.

This was my last topping. I still need to train the 4 tops out. Once they are where I want them it's just a matter of sitting back and enjoying the show.

2 more days it will have been 1 month since ground breach. My last run I flipped them at 6 week mark. If these plants stay on schedule it will be around the same time. Maybe earlier if I'm lucky.

I'm now going to take my pile of trimmings to my cancer ridden friend :)

Good lookn out for your friend. A lot of peeps just throw fan leaves away. Does he get any relief from the fan leaf smoothie? There is thc and cbd in fan leaves and stems. Very very low levels of course. So that is a great way to re-purpose and help a brother out. :) Roots can be processed as well and make a great poultice for inflammation and pain relief. I'm thinking if there is even a grunion of workn compounds why throw it away?

On a sidebar, looks to me you have some very healthy look starts going on. I will see if I still have my veg shots of this strain and will post them. Looks like carbon copies from what I remember. I am very interested in how this strain responds to mainlining. I'm sure you will knock it out of the park.

I've
never seen a mainlined outdoor plant. Wonder what a 12' beast would look like with all them big azz cols stacked all nice and pretty. :smoking::fire:.

Callin me out. LOL you better pack a lunch son....... A big one :) I love you man, all BS aside. It was good talking to you the other day. "Happy Anniversary" mainline ninja :ninja:

Yesterday was the first time he has tried it. Today hopefully will be his 2nd. I stashed the leaves in the fridge to keep them fresh until later today.
I will update you if he notices any changes. But since he isn't eating these leaves consistently (everyday). It may be less noticeable/effective.

I just cant supply a constant stream of leaves since my end goal is smoke. But I am willing to give any and all trimmings to him. As well as smoke him out whenever he feels like it.

he is unwilling to manage an "illegal" plant. Which is funny since his brain cancer is aggressive and his survival rate is low. If you were dying and doctors meds were messing you up worse with no signs of healing.
Wouldn't you say fuck it I'm dying anyways why not break the law for the slim chance it may save my life :speechless:?

I know I would.

They are praying hard today look at the angles of the petioles.

I'm still waiting for the growth tips to come in long enough to start tying them down.

I'm excited that the flowering time will be shortly down the road. Time sure flies when your having fun.

Agreed. ........Most definitely.

Checked my cuttings tonight. Only one of them showed signs of rooting so far (7days). It is the bagseed #2 cutting.
