I feed each clone 2 oz of nutrient solution. That is usually enough to saturate %90 of the soil in the 4 inch pots.

I wanted to show you guys these little living colonies in the nutrients.

Since I started growing I have not cleaned my nutrient aeration jug.
I wanted to have the biozeus microbes and the mychorizae fungi set up shop in the jug and colonize.

I figured once they got hold. Everytime I add new nutrient batches the speed of digestion and microbial population growth will increase. They seem to live on the jug walls. Agitation knocks them loose over time then they are fed to the plants. I'm sure they also survive in the soil.

I call them treats because the plants seem to love em. I make sure each seedling gets 1 nugget during each feeding. I try to get it to land at the plants base. That way it soaks down into the soil and to the root system.

The first time I gave the runt one she started showing noticeable changes.
They love em. Must be full of all sorts of goodies the plants want.

I like bubbling because you mix your nutes 24hrs before feeding. If no microbes are added your adding dissolved oxygen.

If you add microbes from powder or tea. The bubbling digests the nutrients into more bio available substances.



I never let my jug empty fully because the life would die. Worst case scenario just water, molasses & powdered microbes. That keeps them alive through the water only portion of feedings.

When you say you never let your jug go empty I get that part. Do you continue to bubble while leaving some mix in there. ? Otherwise you are allowing your mix to go anaerobic. I'm assuming you continue with aeration. :) plz confirm.

The jug never runs dry.

This means the liquid must completely submerge the bubbling stone.

The air stone & pump run 24/7 since the day I bought it. I want to keep the good stuff alive

You will want some microbes at some point. They do the bulk of the work and transfer to the soil. Here is what I use

First I put my soil in containers.
Then I mixed in the microbes and mychorizae. I mist watered the soil as I mixed by hand. This way I have time for it to do its magic before my next round is ready for the soil.

Then I add microbes to each jug fill whether it's water or feed. Sometimes if I have some good leftover I water it down and add more molasses and nutes to get them going again. The oxygen in the bubbles keep them alive.

Sometimes I add some mychorizae to the jug just for a Lil extra. If I add mychorizae I need to add hydrolyzed fish to help it grow.

mychorizae = fungus
Microbes=microbes

You want a little of both but the microbes work the soil and digest the nutes. Most nute lines have some, just gotta see what's available for your lineup. Unless there's something specific you want.

They are very healthy, happy & the new growth tips are coming in quick.
I've been feeding them nutes past week.

Runt is finally big enough that it doesn't need closeups anymore.
