Hi all,sorry to have dropped off the map for a while,been havin murders with temps indoors,that and a few location location snags outdoors.Anyway fellas i wish i could speak with more firsthand knowledge on these cheese's,we got given a nice smoke and some seeds off of Milo(BBS).The weed we smoked was defo not the same as the weed we grew from seed,if i was to take a guess from lookin at his flyer,i'd say it was their Blue Cheese.Everything of his i've tried has been a joy to smoke and grow,i will try others but more than happy with the end product.Big Hello to all you lovely farmers again,you guy's are the best-KEEP IT GREEN

yeild is anybodies guess at the moment bro, anywhere between 5 and 10oz's, tried countin it up the other day and i can see at least 13 tops all ranging from about 1/4 - 3/4oz maybe, not long till i find out now..

looking good john smith,I've done a couple of blue cheese grows but with the Big Buddha seeds and it's one of the nicest smokes I've ever smoked,I alway's have a couple growing now worth giving the space to,I've just started the Big buddha Cheesus,It's Cheese x Son Of God,so hope they are as good they are meant to be one of the best cheese strains but cant find anyone to tell me the results they got from it,but good luck and keep up the good work pal

Thanks for the kind words Mr Pothead and welcome to the farm! this is the 3rd time if done barnys BC and i think this is my bet result yet, smells gorgeous and the past few days ive seen some real dark purple shades coming through on the leaves and petiols which looks absolutely evil! :smiley_joint:

Day 64 - 113 days total :harvest:

Wassup Famers.....repent, for the end is nigh!!

did a final check tonight and the ladies are as ready as there going to get so tomorrow will be harvest day.

ive not taken this strain so far before (55day recomended flower period) but im glad i took 'em an extra 10 days, brought out some purple and gave 'em chance to fatten up abit. Also the aroma changed after the 55day mark to what i think is alot nicer smell.

Think im on to a winner with a 1 week flush too, watered for two days then used a flushing agent (canna flush) for 5 days, took a sample yesterday and its good, ill let you know if there is any harshness in the dried bud.

Now the growing is out the way its time for the most mentally challenging bit, the chop down, i love harvest time for obvious reasons but after a few hours of being stoned as a motherf*ker my mind drifts on to other things...instead of where it should be which is concentrating on which bits to cut off!

cheers buddy i appreciate that. Im not really sure whats next, ive got some plants from some weed i bought a while ago and i grew one tester in a little pot side by side with this and turns out its not that good... ive named it 'head n shoulders' because thats what it smells like!! that wont be used and all those plants will be binned. which sucks.

i do have about 15 or so regular cheese plants that are about 7 weeks from seed, none have shown sex though but i only have space for 6 so fingers crossed i should get enough fems.

or just buy seeds which sounds the safest bet. really like the look of Barney's Farm - Pineapple Chunk so theres always that option, just means waiting an extra 6 weeks for it to mature??

The cheese was from some stanky ass cheese my mate bought, he paid something stupid like £180 for an ounce and it turned out to have seeds in..wounder. was well nice weed though. Dairy Queen sounds good bro, def pay a visit if you make a diary..

yeah good idea shady, im only in this mess cause my blue cheese mother didnt make it through the winter and the emergency clones i took didnt take either, it took 3 months but eventually that error came back to f*ck me in the ass. The cheese ive got are about 50cm tall / 7-8 weeks old / 6-8 nodes so im hoping they will show sex any day now.. one of em just started growing non-symetrical nodes so they gotta be close now right?

Alternating nodes is a sign of sexual maturity, but you can induce flowering with opposing nodes simply by switching to a 12/12 photoperiod... They will simply veg under 12/12 until they start showing preflowers. :cool

Looking damn tasty. Can't wait to see dried bud shots. I have the BC rollin as well. Of the three seeds dropped, three different phenos appeared everything from cheese strong sativa to blueberry. The blueberry dom cutting was forever to root/3 wks. The cheese dom only 10 days. Mine were Big Buhhda

Day 121 - final diary entry
Well now folks, sorry ive been vacant for a while but ive been really, really high over the past week..good times. Its been a week since i harvested my ladies and yesterday i cut all remaining nugets off their stalks and put in jars for the cure. Mission Accomplished.

Total weight was just over 9oz which i am happy with, well happy with the taste & smell too - the next couple of months should be fun..

Anyway i have a few shots of my antics over the past week that i thought you might like to see...
