The zkittlez seeds were kinda crushed on arrival, so I’m not sure how they’ll do. One sprouted, but died. Another seed didn’t sprout at all. One is growing now.....so I guess just wait and see. I doubt I’ll be growing any more autos. I think it’s cool how they just start to flower, but I definitely want to keep my cloning options open.

Hey there @Kushy Tushy great run so far and great space you have too.
Shame about the zkittles, sending seeds in baggies is asking for trouble really though...
But you're doing a magic job there.
Btw am a newbie myself so all the little worries you have, same for me too but you gotta give yourself time, for theory and for the practical application of that knowledge.

This isnt the be all and end all but they definitely helped with training plants
Indica institute channel on YT.
Am sure you can get specific help here but this will give you the general overview of most training techniques.
Hope it helps you.
Keep it going.

Thanks for the encouragement! I did check that out and looks like I can really learn from, I usually just read the comments lol. I still haven’t done any training at all, so that will def help. Thanks for taking the time to comment! And feel free to post ur grow pics or whatever..... or start a thread! It’s fun to see what other people are doing! I’m going to start cloning this weekend hopefully I can get an Edward Scissorhands groove thing going......I agree about the seeds. I didn’t know what autos were when I ordered them, so I’m not too upset. Lol. Thanks again for the info!

I use a rooting compound and plugs. In solo cups of pro mix soil. Seems to work for me. I’ve never tried getting my cuts to root directly in water. I’ve used systems where they were in water and the water was being oxygenated. But that’s not always easy. They have cloners that spray the stem and oxygenate the water as well.
For me the solo cup works well because once they take they’re already in a cup for a while.

Your method sounds like my kind of style.....simply chillin in a cup and waitin it out! I need something I can’t mess up too badly lol. What kind of plugs are u using? Rock wool, peat, coir, homemade? I have clonex and our local store sells pro-mix. I like that it doesn’t have any additives in it. I think it will be a trial-and-error thing, so thanks for the info I will def try this out. I don’t have a lot of plant material to work with so this info will really help me, thanks!

They are different strains and this makes sense. Thanks for the good info! I’ve been turning them and now rotating them too.

If you’re rotating the placement of the pots, there’s no need to turn them as well. Each section of the plant will get light as they move around the tent. Also, are you flowering under those T5’s? I thought you mentioned something about a 600 watt light in the intro? Anyway, looking good!

No, I put the two cheesy autos outside since I’ve been told it’s not worth the electricity for the yield I’ll get on them....I have one hortilux se 600 and am saving up now for another. Gonna try cloning first before flipping anything until I get that new light.
