I heard from a reliable source that foreign butane vs american made will have far lesser of the "mystery oil" in it due to regulations. is this true @Graywolf

The cleanest butane we've found was from Texas, and distributed by Praxair.

Here are some links to information regarding BHO mystery oil from various brands of lighter fuel.
The 99.5% pure Instrument grade Praxair, actually measured 99.9% purity with regard to molecules larger than C-4H10, and after we predistilled it, 99.98%.
