awww man just when i thought it could get no better.....i COMPLETLEY forgot the old elusive disco ball trick! trick that out with a couple lava lamps and get some fuzzy blacklight posters! your allright bro! at least you can take one on the chin. don't give up.... but for the sake of my stomach hurting from laughing so hard PLEASE buy a light, get you some coco and some pure blend pro and do it up right!

of course i could be wrong, but I don't think they make 1,000w blacklights any longer. you might have to settle for a couple of 600w blacklights.

I did use method after reading this post and it seemed to not harm the roots but make them nice and white just like using some colgate for my roots.:)

Where can I get some LED lights that will grow weed but still fit in a normal light socket?
I'm not sure if they make LED lights that fit in a regular light socket. Get some of the biggest/highest watt CFL's that you can find, get some "Y"splitters for them, and you will be growing some decent bud. When I first started growing I used nothing but CFL's for the entire grow. I think by the time I was done with flower I had something like 10-15 CFL's on 1 plant. Then I decided it was just easier to switch over to HPS and get heavier yeilds that way. Pick up some Fox Farm soil too.

Scrull if you don't live in a med state you need to think about if learning this is really beneficial to you. I'm not gonna hate on you and im actually curious to see the results of your grow. I know what the result will be but i wanna see actual pics of the problems it causes. Lemme hit you with some Plant physiology home boy.
Plants will and do respond to the UV rays that naturally or (unnaturally in this case)
There are 3 kinds of UV rays. Check it
UV-C = This is the regions under 280nm. (wave lengths under 280 nano meters ;) All the UV-C is absorbed by our Ozone. This however; is not being produced by your light. so moving on. (also UV-C is one of those deadly space radiations)
UV-B = is 280 to 320nm. This Spectrum of UV light hits all living organisms.
UV-A = 320 to 380nm - little known fact that this UV-A spectrum is unaffected by ozone !
One of the thing they have in common is they are ALL damaging to Plants (tissue and normal activity)
Plants hit with UV-C radiation (don't kid yourself UV rays are a form of radiation) had DNA mutations.
