I know we have traffic in the Bay Area, but it took 2 1/2 hours to go from I-5 to Long beach on the 405, about 40 miles! Yesterday on the way there a truck lost a shipping container about 3/4 of the way up the grapevine (luckily going north), they had 3 of 4 lanes closed trying to cable it up the side of the mountain and crane it on to another truck. It was backed up for at least 15 miles to the base of the grapevine, not moving at all!Wise move! That’s not something you wanna settle for less on! A 1200 mile round-trip is nothing to sneeze at! That’s grueling! I didn’t have the temperament for that so I bailed about 45 years ago and swore never to go back south of the Grapevine!
The jury is still out on that! I have been giving the affected plants, a wide berth to keep from spreading them to the other plants! But I haven’t seen the leaf damage getting any worse! It’s been about 10 days since I released whatever was in there! What I am seeing is a pretty good number of wild lacewing eggs on each plant! That is encouraging! I had never seen a lace wing in the flesh until last night when I went out to pay homage to Luna and mother Earth! I saw a few of them buzzing around! They are nocturnal! Lol! Will post an update in a little bit!

Big plants don’t equate to big yields! Especially with land race! And I had light problems at the end of the year, which probably contributed to it, so I moved the whole kit and caboodle to a more light friendly area at the end! I did all right on the hash, but could’ve been better. But what I did get was unique, from plants that haven’t had the soul bred out of them yet!
