I attribute the petiole purplish color to the LED spectrum. IME almost every plant grown under that spectrum has that look of phosphorus deficiency if not a genetic trait as you stated. I don't think it's a deficiency of any kind as healthy as they look. Great job btw. As for the stakes or tomato cages, you won't harm any roots to the point of stressing them. Just put them along the edges or as close as possible as you stated. From the looks of it tomato cages would serve the purpose and be the easiest method IMHO. Best, Irie.

For the record, I really trust SeedVault. Currently I have spent around 3-5k on seeds, and not one parcel has gone missing or a wrong order. I hear great things about GLG also, just no personal experience.

BTW - those dogs are awesome. I have always wanted a Boxer. Such loving dogs, but they need exercise like a mofo. That is why I love my bulldogs, lol. Got a new puppy, that is 10 months old, 70lbs, Mastiff x American Bulldog. He is a beast, and needs a walk. Later guys, off to walk the beast.

Yeah, they're total lovers. Except when they try to kill each other and I have to wrestle them to the ground and get my arm bit up and shit haha! It would jump almost up to my shoulders (and I'm like 6'2"), craziest thing I ever saw. You wouldn't think that it'd be able to do that, just cuz it had those little short legs and all, but that fucker could jump almost head-high haha.

As it should be. I'm never gonna be a Professional Breeder (although that'd be my dream job haha), but I feel like if I was, I wouldn't be charging crazy-exorbitant prices for seeds. I'm suuuuper-curious about some of Loompa's gear, but $200 a pack? Aficionado, too, has some strains that intrigue me, but $250??? I dunno, man, that's pretty fucking steep. Especially when you consider that one can get Bodhi's shit for like $75 from SVOC, ya know?

Yeah, I've heard a lot of bad things about Loompa, but the Yeti really intrigues me.

I will say that I've emailed Aficonado a couple times, just to ask them about a few things, and they've been really good about getting back to me and being helpful, which I appreciate a lot. But still.... $250 a pack....? That's a lot. Thought I might go to the next Emerald Cup (was gonna go this year but couldn't get the time off from work) and hopefully talk them down a bit. I'm not cheap by any means (I fucking hate cheap people), but it's hard to spend that much money on ten seeds when I know I can get fire from Bodhi for 75 bucks, ya know?

Been scoopin up the bodhi gear, never seen it anywhere else locally. Apollo 11 F4, prayer tower, superstitious, laos, love triangle are a few I recently got. Also been trying to scoop up some gage green stuff, never tried any of it but they look really appealing. Got their white buzz. I just browse around that site for hrs on end looking at the different companies, a ton of which aren't listed anywhere else including attitude and seedsman cause these guys know a lot of smaller breeders, which is good imo, makes it more unique.

So I dunno if I mentioned that I accidentally broke off a little nug of the Prayer Tower or not, but, uh, I accidentally broke off a PT nug the same night I broke off a nug of the Apollo. Finally got around to checking out the PT tonight and, um..... Wow. Holy fuck. It's basically one hit shit. Honestly, it's a little TOO strong. Came on extremely hard. It was weird, because I was like,"Fuck, I'm not sure I like this...." and felt almost uncomfortable, but at the same time couldn't stop smiling. Eventually it leveled out and I ate some pho, then crashed the fuck out hard for a couple hours.

Just woke up a little bit ago and I'm still like,"What just happened...?" haha. For real, the PT is no joke. And that's from a nug from a plant that still has at least a week or two left to go. I'm kind of afraid of it, to be honest with y'all hahahahaha!!!

Can't remember offhand if the nug was from the Lemon Thai or Appalachian-leaning PT. I've gotta water tonight, so I'll take a look and see if I can figure out which pheno it came from, but whichever one it was from, yeah, it fucked me up.

If I had to guess (and I guess I have to haha), I'd say it was from the Appalachian-leaning pheno. I've smoked some strong-ass shit before and whatever one I hit tonight ranks right up there with the strongest. I'm still really kind of in a daze and not kidding when I say the PT scares me a little bit. I remember B's description mentioning something about the PT being "the ultimate friendly high octane wake and bake" or something. I dunno about that. I'm not sure I'd wake and bake with it haha. Obviously, this is from an early harvest quick dried no real cure sample, but, fuck.... That shit just kicked my ass.

Man, as much as I hate to say this, I'm not sure I really like the Prayer Tower. Or at least not the nug that I've been sampling the last couple days. It's straight-up "knock yer ass out" weed. Or "knock my ass out" weed, anyway. Took one healthy bong-rip, followed by a second smaller rip earlier tonight and I was OUT. I admittedly didn't get much sleep last night, but still.... I dunno... So far, it's not what I expected.

I'm sure people who like that sort of serious couch-lock, narcotic-type high would be a BIG fan of this one, but I don't dig it at all. I'm actually thinking about chopping them tomorrow night (or at least the Appalachian pheno, as I'm pretty sure that's the the one I broke a nug off of), just because I don't want it to get any heavier than it already is. I'm not kidding, it's straight "knock yer dick in the dirt" type shit.

Any of y'all have any thoughts about this? Is it possible that somehow blazing a nug from a plant that wasn't at ideal "ripeness" (whatever that means....) could possibly smoke differently than one that was chopped around the recommended nine week flowering period? Or rather, is it possible that the PT's could have a more "up" high even if they were harvested later than the nug I've been blazing, which I broke off about a week ago (so, like, 7.5 weeks into flower)? Is it possible that somehow the 11/13 photoperiod affected the way it's smoking? Cuz I'm not joking, this shit is knocking me out hard every time I blaze it. And I keep waking up like all dazed and shit, feeling suuuuper-drugged out. I don't even know if any of what I just typed is even making sense. That's how I wake up every time after I smoke the PT. Just a full-on "wtf just happened, where am I?"-type feeling. Soooooo not what I was looking for.

So, yeah, man, I dunno. It's strong as FUCK, no doubt, but not what I expected at all. And definitely not "a friendly high octane wake and bake experience" or whatever that was described by B. It's totally an "anti-social bake and go to sleep high octane wake up not knowing where the fuck you are" experience. Ain't a chance in hell I'd wake and bake with this.

Ya I had the same reaction from this strain. What you experienced was a "Spiritual Awakening""
response. Hence the name Prayer Tower. LOL Gotta love a 1 hitter quitter strain :smoking:

No no noooooo. I'm more disappointed than you man. I have anxiety bad and I can't smoke super strong stuff. Aw man I was more excited for these than anything, pt was at the top of my list. Thanks for sharing, will run some other before I get to those. Hope the other is a little lighter.

Jacks cleaner used to do that to me every time like clockwork. Super intense high leading to a pot nap and then waking up going wtf just happened. That was fun when I first started out(used to wake up and just lol from getting knocked the hell out) but I can't handle that stuff now.
