i am using botanicares line organicare i think it is called. they are really loving it. one thing i've noticed is that with nutrients plant s need specific things and as long as those things are provided they do ok...in my opinion addatives are a giant waste of money....i mean why buy a flavor enhancer...is your weed taste that bad? not directed at you....there are a couple additives out there that i do like but mainly i gave up on them because grown side by side with out addatived same clone same size the addatives usually yielded less....i say if you want more from a strain than you are getting look for another pheno or switch your strain. seems to me that a plants genetics are gonna determine what it can produce....
i should also note that i used nirvana from advanced till now and love it, always will and if i ever grow dirt again i will switch back to it...i'm just kinda rain man and like to keep nutrient lines together and not mix a lil o this a lil o that
ALSO tonight i find two of the bx-1 are females! the ones that look like bubba dominate to me. the third strechy one is not showing sex yet. heres a quick pic. i dont have a handy dandy double duty dashboard douche kit of a camera but it gives the general idea, that and they are in veg so i'm not real worried about detailed pictures...

nice great update.. Those bubbas look very familiar! looks like you got some keepers there for sure.. Ya thats why i mentioned whatever you were using its probably the same thing I just mentioned I was using the betty and since its AN its probably overpriced Ill check out that botanicare spray see whats in it! Cause ya you dont need all the additives it all comes down to what a plant needs NPK....

aside from being a bit stressed they look good. very bubba dominant.. i have 2 bx1 cuts i keep to run both yeild incredible but both taste a tad bit different... but both finish up with killer bubba nugs... so you will get what your looking for i know this...just keep them green and healthy and they will love you in return

swerve can you specify the stress points on them? i was thinking that the leaves not pointing up are one thing but i look at others bubbas and they really dont "reach" up either....i know the one looks bad, it just started getting any kind of normalcy to it. the others one is a triploid for two nodes then it grows out of that pattern into a branch pattern like every other node not two coming from one point. definetly my favorite of the three. anyways thanks for stopping in everyone. i hope this goes well cuz i LOVE bubba! <said in best forrest gump voice>

heres a lil update. clones to be taken tomorrow of the whole grow but pro;;y a few more of the bubbas than the others. i got a few in there that are looking good and structuraly sound so we'll see what happens cuz i judge from clones not seedlings but i use the seedling s for precursors as to plants to look out for.

i guess i should say that these are on day 3 of flower now also so the show kinda begins now i guess

also can anyone tell me about the strech on these bad girls? the tally is also one male and two females. the male i'll get pictures of posted in a day or two. he is not structured like the females but had a rough start. the other two have the hershey kisses with a hair growing out of em at the internodes. I'm stoked for these for sure.

Nice grow, bro.. Lovin' the porn... Bubba did not stretch that much at all for me. I would say almost double, max. That's just been my experience, nothing like the cvks or sfv's, etc.. Check out these leaves off the Bubba, it grows really green-dark green-purple and is a good example of them loving their nutes.. They can handle them w/o any problems..

I've come to find that a good inch or two of guano, organics, or FFOF on top of the existing medium, works wonders /miracles for Bubba. Water it in nicely and within a few days you will see some great results, especially during flowering. I would strongly recommend this b4 flowering, put an inch or two on the existing medium!! It'll help greatly!! Bubba was meant to run in organics, ime.. Happy harvests!!!!

Bubba is a smaller yielder ime, but if ya top, train, and pinch, I cannot see why you couldn't pull a q off a plant. I got over 2.5+ozs off one plant, I did not train or anything. Hope it helps fellas!! Happy harvests!!! :)

yeah i'm not looking to break records or nothing with her but if i can pull a zip off each plant i'll be good. more would be nice but i aint stressin it. i took five clones of each of the three the male clones are real yellow and not looking so good but the females are looking great. thanks for the input though. as said before i love bubba and have been looking to grow it for some time just kinda waiting for the right time. thanks for the pictures too. i got some funky 15 bladed leafs i counted today and that triploid is growing CRAZY! it split into three colas <one is bigger than the other two but it is unmistakably three colas forming.> and the branching is NUTS!!!! i love the smell and everything about these girls. definetly will be in the garden forever. THANKS SWERVE!!!

The keeper pheno of bubba i got from s1 yielded 14 zips off one plant, but it was under 1 1k light. The bulb was on its fifth consecutive run, so I think it could easily pull a whole off of one light.
Tex-everytime i see your bubba it makes me want to pop another seed. what hydro system did you run bubba in by the way, because i have only ran her in DWC, but she smelled and tasted great. you got me curious about what differences the soil made.
Negative1- the pheno i got basically did not stretch in flower, it seemed to shrink actually because the buds weighed it down abit.

i got these today. the branching on the triploid is unlike anything i have ever seen. at the cola there are two colas one slightly smaller than the other but at the tips of every branch is also two heads. the plant has amazing smell and structure and is the second and third shots. the first is the "normal" looking one it smells or rubber and diarreah to me, an interesting combination i thought but very distinct. the smell of the triploid is much more appealing kinda like the strong brew of cannabis instead of coffee...dank and stinky. the last picture is of the two side by side so the differances can be distinguished easier...
