Ya man the west coast dog is sooo nice, I'm def a fan. Here's the backstory I like on bubba and WCD, found this one on seedfinder and seen it elsewhere too:
Jerry bred his Chem Dog cut to a Humboldt county indica boy. This was the beginning of his cubing proccess. At BX3 he got a pheno that had all the smell, taste and kick of the Chem Dog, but in a pure indica pheno. Jerry gave this plant to Bob. It became known as the West Coast Dog. Bob bred this plant to my Old World Kush male. He took a male from that cross and bred it to the OG cut Putz had sent him. This is what made the original Bubba.
I went and grabbed those pics today, here they izz:
this is the west coast dog - as you can see she's totally frosted, very hashy plant. it doesn't look the best when it's dry but taken to 60+ days it will knock your head off. Definitely an oldschool strain. HUGE yeilder - here she is at day 40

We Solidarity ~ The backstory you posted is from KailuaKid...who, unfortunately, was not very credible and more than likely made that whole story up.
Also, I'm curious, where did you get your West Coast Dog cut?
Reason I ask...we've been growing WCD for 6 or 7 years now and she's never looked like what you have posted. For posterity...the WCD we have came from ThaDocta who received it directly from OrgnKid.

The one I have came in as "West Coast OG" on the tag (in pretty shitty handwriting)...since every OG i've seen grows, smells, smokes, and tastes nothing like this cut, and after very extensive research, we thought we had it figured out. Every description I could find of her was spot on to the pheno we had, so we thought it may have just been a mis-writing on the plant tag.
However, you're right - the cut you have posted is nothing like what I am growing. So now i'm curious - what are the true genetics of west coast dog? because your plant looks like straight up OG Kush with that stretch thing and all the single/triple leaf sets. It's easy to believe what i'm holding was part of bubba kush's lineage, it holds so many similarities to chemdawg and bubba that neither strain shares with the other. Def one of the more unique ones in my garden.
You said Fuck it!!!! Thats a banging Bubba right there dude!Fuck it!!
