Can you drop a link for that coots mix, as I am not seeing that on their site. I am going to order some rice hulls, and the flower top dress and want to also get something for late veg if need be.
There are a few products on there for a coot mix I'll link you as soon as I get my kids to bed ✌

What's up y'all! I'm currently growing in the 3.0 as well. Glad you asked this question. I was ready to purchase some npk ferts n shit! Lol
Here is a pic of the setup. I still have to set up a few more 10 gallon pots. Didn't want to much humidity. I have my fan can in place now, so that should help with humidity.

That r2d2 comment was hilarious. I used build a soil 3.0. I am a novice. Someone recommended the fox farms to me and I didn’t have great luck with it. Went back to build a soil. I need to check out the other stuff recommended here. I can say I am novice and my first grow using it I made it through harvest. I bought this.

Yeah, I was going to grab some of that when the ladies go into Bloom.
Did it boost your harvest?

You will not be disappointed with living soil. I’ve watched a good amount of Jeremy’s videos and you can water only but definitely recommend getting the wetting agent and watering with a sprayer. I also add in aloe and coconut extracts. The Rootwise products also recommended though I’m only using the biophos

and enzyme during flowering. Reamend with worm castings and a week before flowering top dress with the build a flower. Bigger the pot the better. I do a 65 gallon

These were my last two runs and I’m a noob. Messed up drying curing on the first and currently drying curing

I couldn’t tell you. I used half strength I think around week 3 or 4 they didn’t mind it. I am a novice and I did something that is probably not recommended, on one of my grows I mixed fox farms with build a soil 3.0 and ended up with this plant that was as tall as me. I am curious about others recommendations in the thread. I was looking for worm castings. You all recommend worms? I am in doors if it matters.

Yeah it’s living soil for sure, and that’s what I thought, as the microbes could be killed off. I do know there are amendments you can put on live soil, and I was wondering if that’s what I needed to do, whether it be after a month of veg or going into flower.
That's incorrect the microbes will be mostly fine

I am starting my second grow ever, and I ordered some build a soil 3.0. My question is, is it really only water only, or do I need to buy anything to add to it for late veg or flower? I know water should be ph 6-7, just not sure if there is anything I will need to add for the grow. It will be in 5 gallon fabric pots, 300 watt light, 3x3 area, will be topping a few times.
5 gallon pots are very small for living organic soil. I would use a couple of earthboxes. Then I would amend with craftblend from the start and when flipping to flower then again at harvest. I would also add some red wigglers to the soil. Don’t even worry about ph.

I would never advise someone to just rely on the npk of the mix , you will loss yield for sure. Most quality soil mixes deplete after six weeks. Not talking about super soils , Iam not on that band wagon. When you are starting flowering pickup a good quility liquid mix of your choice, if you are new to this try an organic mix, more forgiving. Stay away from the big box stores. Try a mom and pop better advice. Names.. Roots Organic, Nectar for the Gods, Advanced, Pure Blend etc.
Oh short note… in a 3x3 tent 5 gal pots are bigger than you need. 3 gal fabric works great and they will self prune.

Living organic is differnt. I’ve ran my same soil for the last couple years. In organics don’t run anything under ten gallons never let your pots go dry. And never add anything synthetic.

Build a soil is a reputable company and is a solid medium. I can’t speak for any names you are recommending but someone on this board stated roots organic wasn’t exactly organic in the first place.
