can male flowers mature while drying?

I cut a hermie down couple days ago have what bud I got off it hanging to dry and I am wondering if the banannas on the flowers are going to mature any more once the plant has been chopped and hung to dry? Dont want to further pollinate my house

i could swear there's more bananas on it now than when i chopped it but i could be mistaken

with water still in the plants plants they could go a little further sort of like when you put a clip in water but not really.any nuts that was already holding pollen is dead ready to fall and spread.no big deal just keep them away to be sure. when your plant drys you see things like hermies better.really its a dead plant
