I was fortunate enough to have a power chair given to me by a family member the day after I posted that campaign and my Aunt offered to buy me a new recliner which she did today actually. We went and checked some out and ordered one, which is why I lowered my goal the other day. We still have lots of work needing to be done around here for my sorry ass though. lmao
On a less serious note, I would love to have some cool off-road chair that would go anywhere, that would be awesome!

If she is in a wheelchair herself I don't really understand why they wouldn't want to keep the wheelchair accessible van they had given to them?
I definitely have need of one I just don't know about coming up with funds to purchase.

If the van is worth a shit....and they will trade the van for bud or a partial payment of bud....surely we could come up with enough weight to make something happen. Gonna be a bit before I'm holdin'....but I'd sign up/give my word for a future delivery if things go down before the harvest comes in.

I've seen quite an outpouring of support, it's made me feel really good seeing how many people do care about what I'm going through. It's also made me feel a little uncomfortable, I've always had a hard time accepting help from people. Over the last few years I've had to accept more and more that I need help with things, I can't do everything for myself anymore.
After a few years of being broken down and humbled in every way I've gained enough humility to ask for help like this but, only when things finally reached a point where I felt desperate enough that I had to.

I never thought I'd start one of these just because of some of the entitled shitheads I've seen doing them all the time. I hope that nobody puts me in that category with them because of this and they just take it as the act of desperation that it is.
I've never been the type to ask for any kind of help at all but, life is more than capable of breaking any of us down to a point where we forget about pride and ask for the help we need. That's one more of those wonderful things I've gained from this disease, it's pretty well stripped me of any pride I once had. :inpain:

Ok, I'm not gonna carry on and on, I've gotten awful long-winded lately. I find myself in desperate need of a power chair among other things so, I set up this fund so I can join the ranks of the beggars. :banghead: lol
If any of my brothers in green can help me out with anything at all it would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry to hear about the hard times. I think any that look down on a sick man are sick themselves. Hope you are I that chair in no time . I'm so poor I had to ask for meds . Hope you the best sir ✌ .

I've seen some really sweet trikes that were set up so that you could drive your wheelchair/power chair right up on it, lock it on and then drive it around like any other trike. I'd absolutely love to have something like that, that would be so freakin' cool.

Yup, kinda like that. The one's I've seen around are more like a custom build thing and are a bit bigger. I'd need to be able to get my power chair on it. That'll never happen anyway so I don't know what I'm going on about. lol
