I’m a step ahead today. I cooked today’s meals yesterday and spanked the house in order. All caught up with weed work.. time to create havoc!I'm about to repeat that with 8 in 3 gal fabric...tomorrow they go in if I can get my shit together and pull the last 2 in it now.....work work work,,,,as I sit here sucking on this whip filled with light tasty air....
I got by over thirty years without it and then !SURPRISE! Most horrible scrounge I have ever dealt with. I even let some internet pros talk me into using milk! Oh gads! The smell of that! Ending up having to take the entire grow room down, wash, disinfect, shampoo carpets..on and on. Fans took apart and cleaned.PM is something I've never had, up to this point. I'm sure I'd be paranoid about it if I did.
I defoliate a lot for air circulation and leaves aren't allowed to touch, but that's all I do. Air is a lot drier here in MI than it was when I grew in the Carolinas.
There are pluses and minuses, for sure. It's an instant grow space.I'm with you on plant size, 5' would be nice, that would be a maximum, because if you add for a foot of the pot, they'll finish 6ft+ off the ground. Anything not a short Indica will probably be somewhat pruned, bent, and sativas will be topped and trained.
It seems like grow tents are kind of crowded/cramped. Even besides the height, they probably should make them taller, but it just seems difficult to work with. Some parts of it I guess are convenient, it's a specific size, blocks out light....
I've never had PM indoors. I grew some nasty mold on plants 20 + years ago indoors when I wasn't using fans to extract the air I found what looked like a large mouse wrapped around my main stem about a 3-4" long grey fuzzy mold all around the stem......PM is something I've never had, up to this point. I'm sure I'd be paranoid about it if I did.

I’m too short and my feet barely touch the floor on the regular thrones, cupboards and counters too tall.Yes they are! After installing them in two of my three bathrooms that third bathroom feels like a Barbie toilet! Like you, I’m tall too, same probs at the kitchen sink. Not to mention finding jeans that are long enough! Lmao at warrior yoga pose!
I used 4 - 5x5 1/2 x2 x 3/8 " wood framed panda plastic panels with hinges on 2 sets so I could place them in a Square or a diamond shape either completely closed up or spread apart with fans in the corners when I needed more room and a 1000w hps . That kept it flexible to my needs and helped contain the heat a bit around my plants. There are pluses and minuses, for sure. It's an instant grow space.
In the past, I've just framed up rooms, like 7 x 8, so I can walk around the planted area. But I think the reflective sides are a big plus. But if you're going to have a grow area much larger than 5 x 5, I think you're better off framing something yourself. It's cheaper and you can customize it.
Wow, 7ft tall for an indoor.....that's nice. Yeah it may not have added significant value, the bottom 1/3rd doesn’t surprise me, and a 1000hps is pretty darn good. ;) But it does allow the plants to develop and sometimes reach more of their natural size and shape. I'm looking for mine to finish at 5', taller would be nice, and most of them will be somewhat trained. It's pretty easy to traun them enough to bring heights down from 1 to 3 feet. If I can get a 7fter to end up at 4 or 5ft, that would be great. Those are tall plants for a tent....I'm real new to tents but I sorta thought they were best utilized with a Scrog set up...7ft plants goes 4ft up and 3 across . When I've grown 7 fters indoors under my 1000w hps the bottom 1/3 all gets chopped off anyways so its like a 4ft plant out of the ground..........Do you use side lighting at all/
I used a closet years ago in an apartment, and it's a closet now. ;). They do require some work though. That one was 4' x 3'. This one is 6 x 12. When I first saw it, tucked away in the boiler room, I smiled to myself and added a few checkmarks to the house in the "buy this one" column....There are pluses and minuses, for sure. It's an instant grow space.

Yup been snowing pretty hard here all morning... it was supposed to get here yesterday but it took its time... I'd rather not have to get out and drive in it, so hibernating at home on the weekend is fine with me.Awful quiet here in the morning.
Got 12+ inches of snow last night and still falling.
First real snow of the season over 4-6 inches.
Had record breaking temps just 2/15 when it was 65f!
Farmer's almanac says March and April are going to suck for N.E.
