I must have missed the reason for not using the 4 gal pots... Simply a matter of wanting smaller size and fabric for breathability & moisture control?
OOO those gray valves make all the difference looking good SportyPOTS for Autopots...
This is what I'm not using, these 3.9gal pots. I wanted just one for the foto but their jammed together so fkn tight I can't get them apart ffs.

I am however going to use my 1gal fab pots and set up as follows. Pot sock in first, fab pot, special order plastic pot rings (I made em lol), cover on aquavalve and let the good times roll

There will be a layer of coarse perlite on bottom then coco/perlite 70/30ish. No air domes for these smaller pots. I bought some 2gal square fab pots but I don't like the fit plus it's just more medium.
What ya'll think...good idear, bad, ugly...need my head checked maybe

Looking really good there Sporty. Really liking the way you setup the APs. Im sure you going to enjoy them. I have no complaints with mine, still checking up on them once a week and its been working great, this is the least work ive done in the garden yet seems like they getting explosive growth..win win hey lolAfter a shitty restart I think we're back albeit not in grand form by any means just yet. But I'm working on that.
I should have just started these in the 1gal to start with. Up potting after 3 days was a bit iffy but with wife's extra hands they're in.
Just to add there was a tap root at the bottom of 3 of the four pot.
These were dropped in, APs turned on and top watered 1ounce just at perimeter of their footprint and so far I haven't looked back. The pots are saturated as they are supposed to be and they sit in about 1 inch of water.
Noticed 1 pot yesterday with little to no water, gave the lines a check & squeeze it filled up. Thinking air bubble at the T. Anyhow it's fine now.
This tidbit I read about wicking is working perfectly for adding small plants and turning system on and go. I used a wide flat cotton shoelace, works like a charm.
Now ya see it

I had to add some extentions to my light as
It's only ever been used for flower and it's up high. My driver is mounted on wall outside tent at back so I was a bit short changing from prior setup. Currently runningmy 240w 3500k Kingbrite at 25% and about 12 to 15k lux.

Here's the strain lineup, always seems to change and it did. Mostly due to my stupidity. Nutes are currently at .4ec & pH is 5.9

New experiment for clones/moms. We now have some in Promix as always, I am flowering my Fat Banana mom so took some cuts rooted em. One in amended soil that will get my str8 nasty tap. The other in Coco will get ro w/ standard low dose synthetic nutez.

Don't be surprised if you walk in one morning and find you have some monsters creeping out the tent and sitting on that chair of yours lolThanks man. Pretty sure after I see what the next few weeks bring in growth I will love em. The price tho not so much.
I put enuff mycorrihaze in there the roots may blow through the fabric . Bring it on

Your right about the weather, what a storm. Here on the coastal bend we got some rain but not too heavy. Your plants look like they are doing ok, cheers & good vibes.SS
I started from the bottom of the page and though wholly fk this guys got Tortoises in his back yard...now that's exotic to me. Oh ya nice grow...I forgot what I was here for lol.I'm thru my first week with my expensive plastic contraption called autopots.
All went well until it didn't.
I was able to curb the Mag deficiency within 24ish hours on day 5/6. It seems my Epsom/ LAB foliar worked nicely. I also upped the cal mag for this next week.
This Magnesium deficiency comes with every grow whether I was using promix or now coco.
Reasons for this maybe???
Coco was pre buffered by me following coco for cannabis instructions. EC & pH was in line. Nothing was added to coco except perlite & mycorrihaze. No crazy ammendments.
Mix order....silica, calmag, megacrop Mr fulvic, drip clean. I need to make a video of the bubbling/ fuzziness when I add the Megacrop. Wondering about precipitate but no major amounts left behind.
First nute mix was with.2.5ml calmag/gal. Now up to 5ml for week 2 to be sure I'm clear.
Is it the Megacrop maybe? I have ground up the megacrop to get rid of the little balls and make a more even mix thinking that would help. No change from previous grows in different medium.
Too much light? Lux at 11/12k. I've never run my kingbrite for veg but I have same issue regardless of what lights I use but the KB def brings it out more than my other lights.
2nd week ec .8 & pH 5.9

TO NOTE:
Stems are quite loose in the coco as the plants were never top watered. I needed to pat the soil down a bit around them as they were getting wobbly. This won't be an issue moving forward as all plants will be further along when added to system. An fyi in case anyone down the road reads this. No one except 3 people do now lol.
Here's a Fat Banana that I'm going to flower out. I had her as a mom for a while. She just got defoliated yesterday. Last FB Clone was done in 52 days so this will get me thru til the current autopot grow is fini. Even with the added Silica @ 1/2 strength she's a bit brittle as you can see

So...then there's this going on in here. My closet of....any & every experiment I come up with.
The clone experiment with soil vs coco has soil mostly kicking cocos ass so far but the nute mixes are not very equal. Just going to be give away clones anyways.
