Super soil and tea only. Start to finish in three gallon bags with LST / lolly pop trim.
It was hard for me to believe that this would work so well.
Can you elaborate on your use of super soil in 3 gallon pots? I assume you are doing 100% super soil in a 3 gallon pot and the plants have a pretty developed root system?
good man :) interesting, i can get one of those vac pumps for about $100 easy to setup? i may give it a go with some ultra refined butane off ebay one day....looks an interesting texture, when i see my shellite mix like that that's when i know to further purge but they are 2 completely different solvents....i like the idea of the vac purge for sure, it looks fast and efficient. So that's pretty solid stuff or like honey comb kinda? explain the smell :) please... :) pretty please ;)It does NOT bubble with heat. If I made one mistake with this first run it was keeping it too high of heat during the water bath. I think that is why it is darker and waxier. I was doing both vac and heat purge. The bubbles were formed from vac purging after heating. I even heated and vac purged at the same time! Good lookin out homie! If I wanted it more clear I think I would have had to maintain a lower hot water bath.

Dunge// i'm reclying my super soil, think i can do it for maybe a year, the plants will let me know..Nice thread outwest.
I don't grow big trees, so a three gallon may not work best in all situations, but for low slung shruberies like I like it works well. I can easily move them about when needed.
I dilute my super soil for newly rooted cuttings only. I stage from Rapid Rooter plugs into 1.5 inch, then six inch, then three gallon bag. I prefer a good root ball from the small pots, then the bag develops a solid root mass which air prunes about a half inch from the bag sides. I sculpt the top so that water pools to the center when watering and does not run to the edge and out the bag fabric.
I feel that the more growers drawn to the organic super soil school of farming the better the world will be. It's easy, inexpensive, and low stress (for me). I love mixing up batches. About half the cost of FFOF. I don't know how many times it can be reused, but the number is greater than two.
I should add that I use rain water or spring water in the winter.
Good water is good.
Keep on growing.

i like using native soil and amend as i see fit.
rain water is my next project, but it has to rain first:eek:
alot of us are going the super soil route with Outwest leading the organic charge...
