Chaos in the 4th Dimension- A grow diary

Thanks for the response Soser! Seems like I'm getting closer and closer to dialed in. Still having serious taco problems with one strain. SubCool's Super Soil is a mix your own recipe. SubCool is the TGA Seeds Breeder, and this is his recipe. Google it...

SubCool's Super Soil is a mix your own recipe. SubCool is the TGA Seeds Breeder, and this is his recipe. Google it, and lots of things will come up. It's also listed on this board. I think it's 'The LAWS of Cannabis'

the more knowledge the better off you are ..... that book is very use full - that and robert c clark - marijuana botany are two books every grower should have..... also fimming IMHO is something you should give a try caregiver - i fimmed this plant below and have 4 monster cola's coming up instead of 1

Where is the best place to purchase a tent online ? also a air cooled vent for a 600hps sun system as I have an open reflector - didn't know any better at the time and heat is going to be an issue this summer.....peace soser - waiting for the 5th dimension - cool grow name do you increase a dimension for each grow..

Hmmm. . .I picked one up locally, and the other on Craigslist. . .4x6 hydrohut for $100.

I have 2 bulbs in one AC hood. I imagine a bare bulb could be tricky, but I'm sure the tent can be kept cool somehow.

Thanks for the compliment. Yes, there is a 5th dimension. . .that's my mother tent. My veg/flower tent has always been The 4th Dimension, and when I added the second tent recently, the name was only natural.

I really appreciate all the feedback on the thread. Glad you are joining along.

I live in a med state, and just like CA there was a green rush boom and bust. LOTS of top quality used equipment around. Good luck!

Howdy folks. . .the 4th dimension is blowing up. It's a full on stinkfest, and all the ladies responded incredibly well to their FIMing. The Mob Boss has not slowed down one bit. I can't wait to send these girls into flower. Here are some progress shots.

outwest

Here is the below of the Mob Boss. . .looking pretty clean and thick. You can see all the V's that were created by FIMs. :)

And here is the top. . .very lush. . .and toppy. Papa likey!

Another update. Plants are looking good. Gave them a nice tea last night, and will be top feeding with some super soil tonight. Why? Because I'm flipping tonight WOOT! My girls have never looked so healthy heading into flower. They seem to love the super soil, and I get the sense that it's running a little low. Here is my plan.

For the 7g pots, which were stacked with 2.5 gallons of SS at the bottom, I'm going to top feed with another half gallon. For the 3g pots, which have no SS in them, but are filled with 70% roots 30% growstones, I'm going to top feed with a quarter gallon of SS. I'll probably repeat this in a month.

How does this sound?

Well anyway, on to the photos.

Here is the mob boss. At 24", I think you'll agree that she is ready to flower.

Here is the P98. . . definitely the stinkiest of the bunch.

The OGK is filling in nicely, wish I had more time (and space!) to let her bush out more.

The Woody Kush is very healthy, but a slow grower. Excited for this strain.

Lastly is the NL cross. She's kind of looking like a Trufula Tree. I think my garden needs a Lorax.

I'm pleased with how agressive FIMing made the ladies quite top heavy. I welcome any questions or comments. Enjoy the weekend.

Hey outwest, whats up man....

Had some time to read your thread..... it's funny how you name your tents... I literally LOL'd on that, which is rare. It is clear that you got the details covered which is what separates the men from the boys, but that is true in most areas of life.... anyway, I am only on my second run myself; learn shit every day. That mob boss and that p98 are dense, vigorous little bushes. You like that FIM'ing? I personally have decided to just let my plants grow and only support leaning buds. I bet most would say that I am just missing out on yield but I like to see what they will do, ya know....

Your plants are looking good, man. Keep up the good work. Best of luck on the flip.

Thanks CGK, me too. I wish I could pass the aroma over the internet. . .and while I'm at it, the buzz!

Thanks for the very kind words. I'm still a young lad in the world of growing, but thanks to this community, I'm growing up quickly!

I hear you on the not pruning to see what the plant does, but I'm in a fairly limited space and I don't feel like I have the room to do that. If I can make a single cola dominant plant have 10 nice colas, then I will.

Here is that same Mob Boss now that it is fully vegged and heading into flower.

It barely had 2 branches after my first pruning. It's ridiculously, and the stalk is quite beefy for a soil grown plant.

She's become quite a lovely bush.

Here is a shot of the AlienDawg. I'm having some nute problems with her, but she responded incredibly to FIMing, almost forming a free standing scrog.

I did some re-arranging in the 4th dimension to make some room for flowers to form and try as best I can to give the ladies some space. It's gonna get crowded up in here, but I put the biggest plants (the mob boss and the p98 bubba) in the corners, and the smaller plants down the middle. It seems a lot more orderly in there now.

Wassup 4-2-0?! FYI The first 2 photos in post #111 are the pre-98 bk. Sometimes, I'm confused by my own confusion. Wait. What?

Yep, a friend from Arcata brought me a sample a few years back, definitely tasty. The Pre-98 and Mob Boss also have very unique and powerful aromas. Thanks for stopping by. . .the fun is just about to get started!

Thanks, brother! Glad you like the tents. I figure if we exist in 3 dimensions, I want to push the boundaries of time and space in the 4th dimension.

So the stretch is on in full form. I kind of like raising the lights on a nearly daily basis. Progress!

I top fed some more super soil to the entire garden as mentioned in a previous post. The alien dawgs are literally half the size of the rest of the garden, and they don't seem to be drinking at all. They continue to taco, but seem healthy otherwise. One of the P98BKs is showing some sign of wierdness, I think a little burn, but because the other is doing just fine I'm not to worried about it. The Woody Kush, the OG Kush, and the NL5 cross are responding well to the super soil. No burn there. That's all for now. Look forward to the visual flowering.
