Ah...the claustrophobic's nightmare treatment.... what fun those are, huh? For 3K they could at least bump up the goddamn tunes. Last one I had they asked me what kinda music i wanted...but it didn't matter cus it was so full of static/etc that by the time I was finished my ears were toast...

if ya need some help farmin' we're down south and will be heading back that way in a few days...

g'luck bro.

Doc in ER said its likely torn acl. I hnow its pretty fucked up cause when it happened it was bent backwards for a long time before i let go and fell. Laying there screaming for help for anout 20 mins till luckly wife camr outside to check garden starts and got help. Had cell phone the whole time in pocket WTF...So today going to a bigger city to a Doc who did a friend of mine who did research on his knee and this Doc has done thousands of knee ops. Will save big arranging the Hosp, anastegelogist?? Sp...Rehab myself asmuch as possible and pay cash.
If i had insurance chances are 5 thou deductable. Cost at least 400 month. 10 years all most 50 thousand. My friend had the whole deal done for under 4 thou so in the long run so far ive been pretty lucky...

Whatever you do dont do what i did....Funny in he waiting room some gal was telling me about her knee and went on about the pain, rehab, showed her scar, said Ill need a cast to my hip, I finally told her to Shut the fuck up!!!LOL...Dont need to hear that shit....

MRI's are nerve racking. I ask for valium and chill. I am surprised they didn't give you that option. Good luck!

It wouldn't hurt to ask for medical bill help, you might qualify. Hell, illegal folks get free care..why not for real citizens who pay taxes?

I must be completely bizarre, I love being imaged, especially the new machines, which have incredible resolution and are very roomy inside now. They are incredibly LOUD, though. I have this thing about being able to see my guts.

I hurt myself getting out of the back of my truck, are you suggesting that I could have some coverage for some of my medical bills outstanding? We're insured, but fucking Aetna... I'm not going to get started on that, it's maddening every time. I'll call USAA and find out, though it's been quite a while since it happened.

man i recently cut the shit out of my finger chickenman, i thought i was going to need surgery right away. lucky for me i didnt cut anything critical, just some flesh. still waited a week before doing ANYTHING! better to just let your body heal and get stabilized. my buddies were calling me non stop to go hear and there and do this and that. had to just shut my phone off lol. good luck bro.

A few years ago I mashed off the tip of my little finger at the top knuckle in a electric motor pully. The belt mashed it right off and a chicken grabbed it and ran off. Tasty...Went to ER, called a specialists dulled, snipped bone tip off stiched, took him 5 mins, $1,500.00. However ive heard from others who had problems with nerve pain so in the long run worth it.....

Hobbeling along well on 1 crutch, supervising somewhat knuckleheaded helpers, what do you expect for 1 gram an hour LOL

MRI revealed torn ACL, streached meneskis, pretty severe injury as I expected after the way it happened. Most likely the surgery will be in 3 weeks with 6 months recovery.......BARF...Pretty comfortable, no real constant pain...
Still busy runnin the show...

Sorry to hear that brother!!! I had that same injury last winter, wouldnt wish that pain on my worst enemy... On January 4 2011 they screwed a dead persons achilles tendon into my knee. No full leg cast. it was fully mobile and weight bearing right out of OR. a small brace is all i wore most the time... I started PT on jan 6. I was lucky and was able to see the physical therepist like 3x a week for 2 months. I snowboarded the whole month of april. Had a great exprience. Ins cover 80%. it was a $25000 operation. PM me if you have any questions might be able to shed some light on the OP.
