Clones, day 8, showing some signs of droop, any ideas?

It's helpful, probably a little sarcastic but people type like we're in a room together having a convo. Don't let personalities bother you. I come off the wrong way all the time but im so harmless. We're all personalities behind these personas.

He's probably right for his scenario. Clear or unprotected medium will get algae...over time. If you're going to let your cube be exposed for a couple weeks or more you might want to shield it from light. Anything less tho and it's nothing to worry about.

No worries. Mr O”Connah had it out with another member over C02 gas in my other thread. No wounds for me in the crossfire but he’s jabbing me (Wow, like I’m an idiot). I claim to be no expert. First time cloning and I and others come here for help or just confirmation we’re not F’ing it up.

I dropped my first ever seed when I was 12, I'm almost 51. If these guys saw some of the ways/wheres/means I've growing they'd run me off lol.

I may be outing myself with things I say but I've grown in a pigeon coop. When haters hate I tell them one day I'm going to grow better looking plants then theirs in a dumpster lol.

I don't protect my starting media because it doesn't see light for long. No chance for algae to take ahold but after two weeks you might start seeing algae, no biggie tho just get it covered by your medium and it'll die.

I missed this post. Low light pushes the plant to focus more on making roots instead of growing. It's not critical but helpful.

just a thought , i may have missed it , but you didn't say what the humidity is in the tent/room.

if it's too low, that won't be helping. around 65% with the dome off would be reasonable . 40% might be too low

I missed this post. Low light pushes the plant to focus more on making roots instead of growing. It's not critical but helpful.

I have one that is showing a root outside the jiffy plug. When should I pull these and pot in a soil 4” pot? Keep it in the dome longer or my veg tent at 65% humidity?

Still keeping the jiffy wet and hitting the leafs with water spray and the dome interior. Only keep the vents on the sides open on the some and humidity is running 70-80%

Here’s a couple of other clones. First the top new growth is drying up, trying to keep

mmm not sure what’s been happening,. so you want to know if you can plant the one in the jiffy pellet? if it has roots yes,. in the tent should be fine,. if it gets slightly droopy than back under dome,..

As you're waiting for your roots to show you gotta harden your plants at the same time. When you finally see roots the plants will be ready to pot, uncovered. Or left to sit waiting to be potted.

It's too late for that but all is good! Just harden the cut up now. When you can leave it out without a cover and it doesn't droop its hardened enough to plant in your pot. Like someone mentioned, keep the humidity high in and out of your tent, 75% sounds good but 60% is fine too.

What is wrong with spraying the cuttings? I spray the the dome insides but did start spraying the leafs as in the last picture above

The light is low in the dome and I pointed the LED strips away from the plants.

I’m tempted to take the one showing roots and throw it in the Veg tent running 16/8 65%RH during the daytime ro see how it does but it’s bright in there. Not sure in a corner obscured by a pot is low enough.

Hopefully some of the others start showing roots so I can open up the dome and reduce the RH. It’s been about 2.5 weeks now.

Spraying the plants is too much, they're already in super high humidity for the first three days. After that you want them hardening up so they force roots out. Keeping cuttings constantly wet and they get lazy about making roots, higher chance to fail too as time goes on.

Go ahead and plant the rooted cutting, throw it under your light after you raise the light a foot from your roof. It don't need no shade when it's in the medium.

Your dome should have been off by day 9ish. If you take the dome off now the cuttings will wilt and maybe die. Cuttings ONLY NEED 3 days of 100% humidity. After that you slowly introduce fresh air by opening vents. Every other day you open the vents more until there's no reason to use the dome. By then or a couple days later you'll see roots.

You ain't seeing roots because the cuttings are spoiled. Why make roots when they're getting all the water through the leaves?

Wasn’t much happening so added some more rooting powder, closed it up, and put into soil.

I trimmed the very top that was drying up and threw it in the corner of the Veg tent.

Here is the CBD clone that has more like 10
Days in the dome as I cut it later due to overwater issue I waited to subside.

Looky here, roots doing much better. Potted and placed in tent. I didn’t really spray this one and it got lower light.

Not sure if the yellowing Kush clone is going to make it.

Anyway the other two clones are duds. No roots developed at all??

I cleaned these up, cut yhe bottoms fresh and scored the sides. Trimmed those bottom leaves off the top (bottom pic before clipping). Wet and dipped in the rooting powder then honey. Stuck in new jiffy pellets and back in the dome. I guess we’ll see.

Also a new cutting and dipped only in honey. These are all Kush clones. Will do one more cutting tomorrow. “Mother” is starting to bloom up too/
