Clones, day 8, showing some signs of droop, any ideas?

1 node below soil

2 or 3 nodes above soil with fan leaves.....

1 node is all you need, but it'll take about 6 weeks to root. 2 node minimum cuts this down to 4 to 7 days.

Fixed all the others for one node under. There was nothing happening yet as far as rooting.

Do you guys scratch the stem that will sit in the soil prior to adding root powder/gel?

Here is the clone that didn’t have many roots that I put in soil. Yellowing, but I see some life around the two lower nodes. The top is withering.

Too much light intensity will cause the plant to focus on new upper growth and not root growth My clones sit under 50-75 ppfd intensity for the first week to 10 days. Then gradually increase from there

I don’t have a ppfd light meter, just a visible light lux meter.

I ended up pointing the 2 LED strips angles away toward the sides of the dome with the LED minimum 10% setting.

The CBD clone is doing well in the Veg tent. I believe it had a node in the soil and did well rooting. I didn’t know about this node underground tip before.

No problem. This is a learning experience for me. My cuttings are free, not like I’m paying $100 a clone cut

I have more in the oven plus the two others that didn’t root to see what happens.

If one wanted to try cloning an Auto what kind of window does one have, if any? Some of mine start blooming 3-4 weeks in.

Yes.....you can clone an auto.....don't waste your time....it'll only grow so much more.....get regular cloning down...

Snip 45⁰ right below a node......put powder/gel on clone for a higher success rate.....mycos if wanted in hole.....bury at least one node.....water/feed to settle media.....mist clone with water.....put under t5/t8 or some other not strong light....

I put my clones under my t8s, 10ish inches away.....just don't use a strong light......

This is the successful CBD clone. Looks good and new growth at the nodes. About time to transplant. Will be using 2gal pot.

Does it need anything? Maybe just cal mag and recharge?

Here is the other kush cutting not so good, but growth at the nodes continues to develop. Should have some better ones in the dome coming.

Awesome job on the cbd clone.....the kush might make it, but .......keep up the great work Bud! Keep practicing with clones! It'll come in super handy one day.....use simple tactics.....don't overthink how to clone.....snip, plant......snip, plant.......

CBD clone shows a couple leaves curling, others maybe a little bumpy?
Watered with some calmag yesterday.

Pics are from today I sprayed a little water on it while hitting the withering Kush clone. Plant is in the corner in partial shadow of the big girls.

Any ideas?
