Hey guys, I've been doing some research on all the different light possibilities from LEDS, to CFLs, to HID's. I've narrowed it down to either using the T5's, with extra side CFL Lighting, or to go with a HPS setup.

I'm trying to spend about $500 on the room including lights, fans, and carbon filter, so the HPS would be pushing that budget, if not exceeding it.

The size of the closet is 2'x10' with a height of 5'. I might be wrong here, but I'm guessing I'm going to need 2 600W's preferably?

All that aside, I have two main issues I'm trying to figure out and I hope you guys can help me out here.

1. Is there a huge difference in electricity costs betwen the T5/CFL, versus a HPS setup?

2. Heat. I live in SoCal, what kind of cooling would be necessary for a HPS Setup in a room with little to no ventilation.

Any input would be appreciated, thank you.
