I went from hps to cmh and now running all led and could not be happier. My 420 watt plc cob puts my 315 cmh to shame. If you go led, stick to newer high end cobs or quauntum boards.

I think I will stick to CMH, I really didn't plan on dropping a grand on just the light. I'm sute couple years down the road 'll be glad to have experience with cmh.

How many plants should I grow for a scrog in a 4x4? 4 plants is plenty, right? Got some somango xxl and white widow ready for after my auto run.

Also, is a RO system worth the money??

I'd say no more than 4 for the scrog and no ro system if soil but with hydro or coco I'd say yeah its prolly worth it.

Really it comes down to what you're willing to spend

Got a higher budget? Go LEDs. If you don't want to spend as much. CMH. Don't buy cheap leds

The canopy space is 4x14'. 2400 watts. Not totally sure on the cost. Between 4 and 5 stacks.

Yup, 12,000 btu unit cools the whole shed. Like 3000 watts, C02 burner, fans, dehumidifier. Would be nice to have a mini split, but I didn't want the A/C man charging the lines asking questions...

Chexk out the Mr. Cool diy with precharged 25' lineset mini split. Easy discrete install.

It's about 1.10-1.30 per watt to build with cobs depending on what brands you use.citizen would be the low side and cree the high side

So far havn't noticed any differences in the plants grown under the QB's. Seems like a good quality light that you can run a little closer than cobs. Makes sense for space limited folks.
