600.00 less on my power bill every month and yields up about 10-15% is also a hefty chunk haha.its all in how you look at things.up front cost, yes its expensive.but operating costs are forever :cool:36 x 1.5
Plus misc odds n ends.
That' a hefty chunk of $
And dont forget you dont have to replace bulbs anymore like with cmh and hps.;)600.00 less on my power bill every month and yields up about 10-15% is also a hefty chunk haha.its all in how you look at things.up front cost, yes its expensive.but operating costs are forever
I'm gonna order a couple and use them as side lighting with my cob up top.So far havn't noticed any differences in the plants grown under the QB's. Seems like a good quality light that you can run a little closer than cobs. Makes sense for space limited folks.
I'm order a couple. What thinking in k value? I was gonna go 4 butt thinking maybe 27k600.00 less on my power bill every month and yields up about 10-15% is also a hefty chunk haha.its all in how you look at things.up front cost, yes its expensive.but operating costs are forever

30,000hrs for the Philips 942 t9 bulb. At 18/6 is over 6yrs. 12/12 is over 5yrs.
I'm gonna go 4k I personally can't deny the buds they produce! I have no science behind this but to my eye they have way more frostI'm order a couple. What thinking in k value? I was gonna go 4 butt thinking maybe 27k
But has light quality degraded at all?

Rad man, I'm stoked on that grow... need to go check inI' running 4x4200k all thru flower and couldn' be happier. Started week 7 yesterday. The frost just keeps packing on.
I wanted to mix spectrums too but then I wondered... wouldn't those four be 3700k? Or cause the further away it might not receive ful light? But that's a question on its ownI have an issue with my cheese. All others are fn loving the 4200k vs the 3200k. Next run gets 42/32/42/32 mixed.
I need to update that thread tonight.
WordYou would get overlap of K at the edges of the 2x K bulbs. The Centered plants should just the main bulb K.
I can't locate the thread, would you post the link pleaseYou would get overlap of K at the edges of the 2x K bulbs. The Centered plants should just the main bulb K.
3000 or 2700k for flowering is the tits.I'm order a couple. What thinking in k value? I was gonna go 4 butt thinking maybe 27k
Quality spectrum, no bulb changes, less heat, more yield/watt... Okay I've said enough.600.00 less on my power bill every month and yields up about 10-15% is also a hefty chunk haha.its all in how you look at things.up front cost, yes its expensive.but operating costs are forever
I second Six's comment. All the peeps I know that have had mars units were not happy with them at all.get the cmh, marshydro is garbage.
