Ale,
the trunks on these Alien Dogs are fatty for sure! I think that you are being too kind at my photography:D The Super Skunk is looking so tasty. I also have a few of the Alien x SS seeds waiting in the wings. Can't wait to get into those as well.

GoD,
big thanks man! If not for you, no Super Skunk for me. She was the first to stink in the room, and still is the stinkiest! She has crystals coming down the petioles too. What is this adorn you speak of? I tried to look it up, and only came up with a fungicide. Hmmm.....

delae632,
thanks for the props man. Glad you enjoy.

Son of a Bitch!

Mother Fucker! I was in my flower room giving my ladies a little hand pumped tea mix, and I noticed what looked at first like pulp or something floating in the water on top of the coco.

That was no pulp. Fucking root aphids!:mad0233:

Too late to do anything to the flower girls. They still look awesome.

Gonna get some Bayer nut shrub tree death shit tomorrow for all of the veg.

Wish me luck.

Shit man. That's why I haven't been posting much lately. Been blasting them with bayer and finally i feel like I've overcome. Wicked good vibes your way TF seeing how your on a much bigger scale then me.

bummer man! luckily i haven't had to deal with those nasty little creatures yet...knockin' on wood as i type.

First words in my mind when I woke up this morning ROOT APHIDS!

Fuck, it wasn't a dream. As I said, let the executions begin!

Thanks ron & delae for the good vibes.

Man Aphids suck, I had them in my last run also. I flushed with Monterey Garden with Spinosad, And Azmax every other week (save run off and reuse so you dont have to keep buying) and that pretty much controlled them till harvest. I Have a question, I am really digging your set up what size pump are you using to drip/spray your smart pots and how many times do you feed a day and for how long.. pretty much going to copy cat your setup love the Plastic rain sheeting. Do you see any problems with the weight of the coco? I am thinking of running 32 2 galon smart pots per 4 sheets (each sheet which is 2x4 going to over lay them.. also any pics of your rez set up would be great...

Thanks...

Looking awesome bro. I have been drawing a blank as to how to get my run off away from my smart pots and after seeing your setup I have finally figured it out. Thanks!:clapping

Looking sick!!! Those sour og's look like the bomb, same with the alien dogs. Good vibes

I'm sure you already know that, but the best method to get rid of pests is to prevent them. I tried alot of different methods to clean my mothers or veg. If you got bugs, one of the best methods is to gas them with very high co2 over several days. Every day. Don't flood your room. Take some clones and begin with the gasing while they are rooting. So you can be sure that you have to gas a small area. It's easy to fill with lot's of Co2. way more than 10.000 ppm. I killed everything with this method that needs to breathe. Rooted in diy ezcloner. I'm buiding a room similar to yours right now. hope all goes well... peace bro

I wiped them out with triazicide/merit 75 alternating drenches. Worked great. Merit is 75% Imidicloprid, bayer tree and shrub is 2.8%.

bigdrty,
Just getting acquainted with my little visitors. So far, they are definitely unwelcome. I think that the flower room will make it to the finish before the damage really sets in. Already flushing the super skunk. The pumps that I use currently are ecoplus 1056's. Water once a day after the first couple of weeks of flower. Time varies per container, but it is 2.5 min for the 3 gals & 4.5 min for the 5 gals. I have the room split into 4 watering zones. One pump for each. That way I can have more control. My digi timer is a unit for sprinkler systems. It fires relays that turn my pumps on and off. Then I have room for up to 4 res's under the room. That way I can do more experimentation to fine tune my grow. Right now I am only running 2 res's, with a once a week third res for a bonus top feed. I say go with at least a 3 gal for flower. I have some 5's in there no problem at all. I will have some 7's in there whenever I run some big plants in there again. I fit 17 3 gals under 2 hoods. 10' wide total space.

MydnyteToker,
Go for it. I have been running that type of setup for years. I just used it for rockwool before.

LordDankinstien,
thanks for the props. Can't wait to sample my 3 phenos of the Alien Dog!

Nuttso,
thanks for the tips and the good vibes. I will need all the luck in the world on this one...

sealed138,
good to know. I did pick up a bottle of the Triazicide to hit them with first. I will have to look into the merit. Did you pick it up from your local hydro store?

Thanks for the info, I was 1st reading LedSleds DIY on the 4x4 tables 16 2gallon per 4x4, but if I can save around 1k on tables by using the Plastic Roof sheeting I will give them a shot, only problem I fear is that the sheeting wont hold the weight of all the coco pots, I just have to check the weight rating on those sheets if they have them avil. lol...
you see any difference on flowers between using a 2 gallon vs 3 gallon? I just would rather just do more numbers vs Veg time.. This my first time venturing into the Coco world coming from Rockwool lol...
but thanks again for the info, helps a lot.. Ladies are looking very sexy keep up the good work

Drty..

You do understand that I have wood underneath the plastic eh? Not even close to a problem on weight rating. The 3 gallon pots will give you more yield for sure.
