Before you pack the covered wagon and head to Colorado better do your homework.

We get a shit ton of snow, and it can stay on the ground for the entire winter. Temps dip into the subzero a all the time. Winter lasts from September to May.

Home invasions abound, and hit and runs are constant and everyone gets mugged at least twice.

We have the highest cost for food, housing and gas in the country. You must drive a 4 wheel drive to be able to get around in all the snow.

I may be making some of this up. Maybe not. :P.

Hmmm...The reps of Denver and Boulder want exemptions? They want that money to be legal, so they can put that shit in the coffers.
Probably the thing that will change minds the most isn't the rented space that would otherwise be vacant (residential and commercial) it's when that tax revenue makes the front page of the newspaper.
I met many people who don't smoke it but say "I think they should legalize it, they should tax the shit out of it, and legalize it", while I only agree with part of that statement, they are entitled to their opinion.

Yeah I had a friend from Alaska that got released when prop 203 went into law, he was a legit medical defense too. busted with a very small amount and got 2 years in jail. Actually Sheriff Joe (in only this particular instance) has stated publicly that nobody should be in jail for MMJ or a small amount. With that said Sheriff Joe has cost the taxpayers so much more in law suit awards and settlements than he has saved by putting citizens in tents and feeding them green bologna. Some of those await conviction and are of minor offenses, .
