I was looking at starting autos and photos indoors, transplanting the photos and larger of autos into larger outdoor pots in May. During the warm months I was hoping to do an indoor grow maximizing the window of opportunity. We have power outages during the inclement weather . I don't want to be growing December / January due to weather concerns. I don't want a power outage to cause the plant's to merph out.
My space is a closet grow, 8 foot height 6 foot wide, two foot depths. I bought a decent light, Electric Sky 300 V3. I needed a light that had some technological advances as far as controls went. Cloudline fan and filter. With those size restrictions 5 gallon smart pot was what I was thinking. Planning on making some changes with the construction of a larger grow area.area.
Ideally the strains that will produce highest yields I would grow 3-5 plants outdoors. Getting those started indoors I in one gallon smart pot transplanters.
On a side note, there is a large seed breeding facility neaby. The GM offered my dad their once run potting soil for my garden. I can get a lot of potting soil for container gardening. A little anxious abt possibly using second hand medium. A lot of questions to ask the GM abt their practices & IPM.
I will answer any other questions you might have to help me out. I appreciate you getting back to me.
