I wonder if Co make my day law covers that situation
?

I respect cops. Without the rule of law we might as well be Mexico where nobody can patent ideas or be safe to conduct business. My friends uncle was a priest in Mexico and he talked up against the cartel and they castrated and murdered him in his church. Things like that don't happen in the USA because cops normally act correctly,by the laws written in the constitution. However, I believe when a cop acts outside of the laws he should face double or triple the consequences.
I will show and usually do show respect for cops. But as @caveman4.20 mentioned the respect is earned. In reality most cops are just a bunch of swingin dicks looking to support their families like you and I.

But as we all know, there are good cops and bad cops, its human nature. The problem lies in the good old boys mentality they get and they are taught internally that we citizens are actually the enemy. Its called the "Warrior Mentality" That is a huge problem. Then as I posted earlier, the whole system is a good ole boys club you have IA internal affairs doing the policing of their own forces. Cops will lie for each other just like gang members, Sort of like having the fox tend the chicken coop. Then couple that with some bad cops with the militarization going on here in America with all of the weapons and hardware and we have a recipe for disaster.

As stated earlier by someone else, we do need law and order, but we, in doing so, need to remember what a true "Democracy" is and make sure that we aren't trampling on citizens civil rights in the process.

Way its going I don't see that we will be able to hold on to any of our freedoms as I believe the militarization of America's police departments goes a little deeper than the so called "War on Drugs" They seem to be preparing for something. But I am not going to go there. But I will do this.

I want to preface with, I remember Kent State and I was pepper sprayed and beaten in Seattle during the WTO protests. I am not an anarchist, this term is too readily used by those that want to maintain control and it places a question mark over the head of the person being labeled anarchist. All they have done is replaced the cold war terminology from Pinko Commie to anarchist.

I am just a normal Joe US citizen that has watched over the last 40 years and I don't like what I have seen and sensed what is happening to our country.

Here is a link that I believe every US citizen should read with an open mind, I warn up front, it is a long read, but I was dumbstruck by the amount of information contained. I have done a lot of legwork fleshing out and confirming a lot of the details and information contained and to be honest the shit scares the crap out of me. Do your own homework and then you be the judge. Here's the link.

Remember I ask you keep an open mind, take what you want and leave the rest.

How safe are we posting online of our dissaproval........

@caveman4.20 I am not sure how to answer that. There was a time when we all thought we were safe sitting in our homes minding our own business and now we can have our doors bashed in and be maimed or killed for little to no reason, by those sworn to serve and protect.. Mhhhhh How safe are we???

@caveman4.20 I am sending you positive vibes your way. Good luck my friend

I'm right there with you about to battle them in court.
The DA told me I wasn't eligible for a public defender and let me read the police report and it was made by the second officer on the scene the first asshole wasn't on the report or the sergeant...
We will see what the judge tells me when I stand up for my rights

Everyone standing up for their rights is standing up for America.
I am thankfI'll that I wasn't gunned down like an animal and I thanked all cops at the scene individually. On the other hand I'm upset that I was treated guilty before proven innocent and three guns drawn on me gave me a heart attack. I just know I won't be as lucky every time as this one.

Thats a good question Caveman ! Google it . lol. I would say not very after all ive seen. This is the age of 1984 , thought crimes rule the day it seams ..How secure is that ? Certainly doesnt make me feel safe ! When i first started speaking my mind on government i notice this sheriff pull up to my house one day. I had just become a mmj patient to i think , Coincedance ? It looked like nobody home . no car . I'm watching him out my kitchen window with blinds down so i cant be seen sitting at computor with my dog on lap. So , sheriff goes to the side of my house were im sitting in the kicthen . Theres a side door to the kitchen. just that fast he turned my door handle , luckily it was locked. Just smoked up too. I tell ya , i bolted up with dog in hand and went out the front door to meet this little aspartame cowboy. He notices someone is home now and starts walking fast to his car and is midway when i catch him. I ask him , "why are you here trying to get in my house " ? He says " got a burglury call " . Hes hightailing it to his car rather than talk with me. I yelled at him it " sure wasnt me " as i stand in my palamas hwich i lived in .. He closed door and drove off. Maybe i should have unlocked the side door wait for him to enter and blast his fucking ass ! Safety work both ways !

This comes to mind
Read the discription .

The answer is evident ! 'citizen "

Were just here to check up on you buddy

@caveman4.20 Why were you told you dont have the right to representation? Do you make too much $$$$ ? Because if your not working they have to provide you with a public defender. More times than not they are pretty useless anyway.

'Towns' Don't Need Tanks? San Diego Unified School District Has an MRAP Now

Many of our nation’s sheriffs have been brainwashed that America is a “war zone” so all of our police departments (even for towns of less than 4,000 people) apparently need mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicles — which basically look like tanks — straight off the battlefields of Afghanistan.

Though the vehicles cost nearly $750,000, many police departments across the nation have acquired their very own MRAP tanks for pennies on the dollar (and sometimes free) from the Pentagon’s controversial surplus program that seeks to dump military equipment into America’s neighborhoods.

Now the indoctrination inside our classrooms can compete with the indoctrination on the school’s front lawn that America is such a police state war zone, it’s totally normal for a school district to also require a tank.

School districts. Are getting. Tanks.

On sale special at a 99-percent-plus discount, the San Diego Unified School District recently got a good bargain, too; it only cost the district $5,000 to transport the $733,000 vehicle to campus.

But don’t worry. San Diego Unified School District Police Chief Ruben Littlejohn held a news conference back in September to assure his fellow citizens that A) MRAPs aren’t tanks, B) there will be medical supplies and teddy bears kept in the non-tank MRAP, and C) don’t worry, this really isn’t a sign of the militarization of our schools.
“There will be medical supplies in the vehicle. There will be teddy bears in the vehicle. There will be trauma kits in the vehicle in the event any student is injured, and our officers are trained to give first aid and CPR,” he said. (source)Guess they are concerned they might have a lot of Iraq-style bombings involving high-grade explosives to respond to there on the good ‘ol campus?

The police chief assured everyone the MRAP is going to be used as a “rescue tool.” There are even plans to paint it up like an ambulance:

See? They are going to dress up their non-tank to look like an ambulance and fill it up with teddy bears, so it’s all okay.

One commenter on KPBS wrote:
They can call it a ‘love buggy,’ a ‘student patrol limo,’ or a ‘campus police fun bus’ and then paint it pretty colors,” a reader wrote, “but that doesn’t change the fact it’s a piece of military equipment that is unnecessary and sends the message that local officials are at war with students.Hm. By that logic, maybe we should start painting all the militarized riot gear our modern American police officers wear up to look like giant teddy bears complete with giant bear head helmets, too. That way they can look all cutesy poo when they’re stomping your face down with their boot and firing tear gas at you for daring to exercise your First Amendment rights on U.S. streets or shooting your dog during a no-knock SWAT raid at the wrong house.

By the way, if this MRAP is such a “rescue tool,” what are the police doing with it? Isn’t search and rescue more of an EMS and fire department thing?

Oh, but apparently San Diego Unified needs an MRAP because Sandy Hook:
The district said the rescue vehicle is one of the ways it is responding to the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut, and preparing itself for potential disasters in the future. (source)So having an MRAP is going to magically stop school shootings now? Why not just post a few more “gun-free zone” signs around campus?

The sheer amount of common sense and sound logic flowing out of this sheriff and the school district in justifying their MRAP purchase really should make us all feel so much better that A) these people are in positions like “sheriff” and “superintendent” of a whole school district within our education system in the first place and B) that these people are also now in charge of a freaking teddy bear filled tank.

The MRAP should go really well with the whole police state apparatus being erected on that campus, according to another KPBS commenter:
San Diego Unified Police have been carrying military-grade semi-automatic weapons in their car trunks for a year and a half. Last year the entire Education Center at 4100 Normal Street was converted into a locked-down i.d.-card-swiping system, paid for with federal Homeland Security money that is subverting civilian institutions and American values. (source)Wow.

With crime down to 20+ year lows, why exactly is America becoming a war zone again?

Because it actually is one? Or is it because people like this justifying the fact that we’re arming it like one…

(That last bit was rhetorical.)
