Stock market panic is mainly caused from Saudi Arabia’s future king dropping the bottom out of The oil market. If that had not happened the stock market would have had a slight blemish from the virus.
Saudis trying to put Russia and Iran out of the oil business.
Got to remember the world’s economy is built on oil, that’s what makes the world go round.

Actually oil has less to do with making the world go around than it once did. It's a diminishing commodity and Saudi Arabia is playing a 70's card in a totally different environment. The move to destabilize oil prices will likely hurt Saudi Arabia the most.

However, "a blemish" on the stock market is entirely too optimistic. We have a global economy no matter how you look at it ... with significant levels of commerce totally shut down. When supply can't meet demand, things slow down.

This is true, Saudi is an alli to the USA.
They get all of there military equipment from us. We are oil independent finally and the worlds economy is built on oil trade and consumption.

Yup. They killed Kennedy and put Nixon in his place. Nixon tied our dollar to Saudi oil. This is only reason we think we are independent of oil. We are not. We have reserves, but are far from oil independence. Also makes our dollar unstable. They called a fiat currency. It floats without any monetary grounding. Nothing stabilizes it, except the world's need for Saudi oil. Without their oil, our dollar will collapse.

I prefer not to get my information on this subject from the political news on the information air waves.
I have friends and neighbors that work in the health field locally, nurses on the front line in our local hospitals.
3 weeks ago when this all started here they were required to wear full self contained body suits when dealing with patients suspected of having the virus because of the possibility of it being airborne. Even though they had all been exposed before the fact. Most have already been mildly sick but no one tested for the virus even though they work with patients and have already exposed them to the virus.
Now all nurses are required to wear masks and protective glasses, even though they’ve already been exposed to the virus.
Most have been sick in one way or another from this exposure in the last 3 weeks.
Here’s an example from Seattle.
My brother lives here in Portland and works in Seattle Monday-Friday in the construction field. 5 weeks ago 3 guys he works with came down with a sickness that had the exact same symptoms of this virus. 1 day later 4 more including my brother came down with it. All the guys that came down with it are healthy 39-40 year olds except 1 guy who is 62 years old. He was effected the worst. Not hospitalized but none the less it took him longer to kick it because of his age.
This things been going around a lot longer then we think.
And remember do not do this!!
You could get the virus!!

Not exactly so anymore. The USA has the largest oil reserves in the world. We are less dependent on foreign oil now than at any point in the last 50-70 years. Saudi Arabia is doing this with the intent of bankrupting other players in the oil business. However, for them to win this game, oil needs to be sold for better than $80 a barrel or they don't meet their budget. Russia is well diversified. Saudi Arabia is far too dependent on oil revenue to drive their economy. These recent events tell me that the Saudis are trying to flex muscle they no longer have. The oil we use today is a lot less than we once used. With EV on the horizon, this will only get worse. The Saudis no longer control oil production. They couldn't even get their oil cartels to follow their requests. The Saudis have played a losing hand which in the end will hurt their economy far more than Russia or the USA.

The worlds need for Saudi oil, not the US anymore.
I no that hurts the greenies that keep whining about oil but the facts are the facts.
What makes us independent you might ask?

I take my news from many sources..including those in foreign countries. That makes it easier for me to consolidate all the info that I can locate and form my own thoughts and policies.

I take it all (news) in, decifer what I feel is correct, throw out the extremes from both ends and land somewhere in the middle. I think we're in for a rude awaking, but life will go on, (for most). I'm older, 64, so I believe my chances of contracting the virus are greater.
That will really intercourse my grow operation. The wife said if I'm gone so is the grow room.

We're still where most of us will avoid getting this virus if we follow the guidelines being put out by health authorities. The focus is on controlling spread by limiting social contact and stepping up hand washing and disinfecting surfaces. Hunker down and ride it out. Venture out for groceries, doctor visits and other things that are of high importance. Otherwise, stay home and practice social distancing.

For most people, following those precautions should be enough. It's the people who are ultra cavalier about it and approach it as a hoax or a joke that are going to hurt us the most. Not the people who are limiting activities to prevent exposure.

We will get through this. Let's get through this with as many lives saved as possible.

Don't forget to wash your hands after handling your groceries ... lol

I am also pretty good at social distancing ... I can be content for days without leaving the house as long as I have my utilities and my internet.

That’s what freaked me out yesterday at the grocery store.
The produce isles.
I told her wash all the produce who no’s who’s touched or sneezed on it.

We’re not really seeing up close the full effects yet...hope the states get their shit together, it’s been a cluster fuck so far, from you know who, but didn’t expect much there anyways. The stock market crash did get everyone’s attention, that and the specter of everything closed down for a few weeks, who knows how long. Some retards here decided to buy up all the TP, not sure why, but natural selection being what it is, and the lowest common denominator and all that shit...
Darwin still has work to do...Hope it’s not as bad as they are sayin it could be...Good health, keep your families safe and sound to all, we’ll get through a little banged up, but through...finger’s crossed.
