for my clones
just to know that my cal is banked in the coco
and it gives extra N for those 2 weeks of veg and to support the leaves for the transition

Whats up fellas.. Long day at work but came home to my new carbon filter and fan. Controlling the temp in the tent just became a lot easier.

Some random pics.. I removed a few fan leaves that were CA deficient... I see some purple stems but I think that was from allowing my res to get down to 250 ppm over about 4 days. Should be fine now. But damage done and lesson learned. I think they are handling the upping of the nutes. They are a little green around the gills, but I guess that was to be expected.

I was listening to a podcast of the GG strain guys (gorilla glue)
one guy uses House & Garden and the other uses Maxibloom
they both grow in pure coco

So when I get this fnb you have any idea how much to a gallon I am gonna be using? I an gonna go research it. I guess I still need to use my calmag? I think the reason I had my ca deficiency was because I mixed that wrong ratio a few days ago. But I added them nutes last night and that prob helped. I an gonna change out the res tomm, and just get it right. Then next week I will hit them with the fnb when it gets here.

Silica blast and sweet berry supplements. So tell me about those.

Silica blast is silica which helps strengthen cell walls
makes leaves impenetrable to bugs as well mold and pm
sweet berry is supposedly a sweetner
what it really is
Mg and sulfur with some sugar which act as chelates

So tell me @Wisher619 ... So I can understand res and nutes a little better. I am trying to figure out what happen when you mix wrong nute strengths, such as when I added 3/6/1 when it should of been 3/4.5/1..... And then I topped off using the right formula when we did it the other night. So in reality we have no idea what the npk value is huh? And that could of locked me out of my ca, right? And besides changing my res, can I fix something like that by topping off every day with right formula, or once its wrong, its wrong?

you wont get a lockout by not having the correct ratio
lockout occurs with the wrong ph
you just didnt have enough Ca for the plants as they were using it hard to help with photosynthesis during the beginning flowering phase
and the photo
just not strong enough nutes

Well I didn't know that about lockout and ph. Then even if i have incorrect ratio, the plant will still use what it needs from the nutes, AS LONG as their is enough of each element that it needs in there? and if there isn't, then it becomes deficient in that element?

4pm lights on (15 min ), 10 pm (10 mins), 6 am( 15 mins ) 3 times a day

I think I know what I did wrong. Maybe you can tell me. When I topped off res for 3 days straight, I never added no nutes and my ppm had dropped all the way down to 225. So should I add nutes everytime I top off my res? Do you think this is what I did wrong?
