Good question, i have something to add to this question.. I see vader running canna boost until he harvests because he says the flavor enhancers don't affect the flush and you actually don't want to flush all of the flavors out.. something along those lines..

So what i have to add is: what botanicare product would essentially be the boost equivalent that i could run through flush?? if there even is one..

ok so the bloom boosters in UC are Sulfur based bloom boosters
very similar to Koolbloom Liquid/dry
but sulfur based which helps with taste and smell (synthesis of sugars raising brix)
farmers in gape fields use sulfur to raise brix and so do orange growers to make the oranges sweeter

with CNS you can use hydroplex as a bloom booster
and sweet raw for mg/s or you can use epsom salt at 1g a gal

really none of that is needed
to boost blooms
switch from Bloom to Ripe at around week 6 and finish out with ripe
low N high P/K
and if using sweet make sure to run it through the entire grow
from flip to harvest

Awesome. That is what I'm doing exactly.
Bloom, Hydroplex, and sweet raw. And silica blast of course. Been running sweet since flip.
Around week 6 i switcb to ripe.

And event with all those my Rez is clear as water. Just FYI. No biofulm and very stable. No ph drop or anything like that.
Only time my ph dropped is when I let the res get super low. But at that point it was too low to pump so I had to change anyway. Lol

I have noticed with the supplements as opposed to just grow/bloom and silica blast.
I've also upped to 20ml bloom.
Wisher, how much is too much silica when I'm using it to keep my ph up?

So mix silica blast, then bloom, hydroplex, sweet raw in that order and run the sweet from flip to harvest?

Yea 18ml base and 5ml silica blast in RO comes out to 5.8 every time.
But with supplements and a lil higher rate of base I'm having to put a lil more than 5ml silica blast to get that 5.8. I'm wondering if there is too much silica or if at some point the plant just stops uptaking what it needs and it's just acting as a ph up

My UC is gonna require me to run lower EC than you guys.
Do you got the other measurements?
As in what comes to 1.2 or .08
as in how much silica to grow for 5.8 at them EC?
Have you came up with any others besides 5ml silica/18 grow?

2x4's cost me nada. I'd rather go that route. Looks like the low tide trays are 3.5" deep. So all I gotta do is make the 36" inside dimensions than run a 2x4 or two across the bottom. Boom

Alright so, 6 mL Micro, 9mL bloom, 1g epsom salt (probably about a 1/4 tsp?) and 2mL Hydroguard. Put Micro in first. Then pure tea every sunday. Got it.

I think if everything is dialed in nutes aren't making much of a difference.
It's more about preference and ease.
Ease of dialing in
Economics.
Whatever in your personal Grow works better for you.
But as long as your ppms are in order and the plants getting what it needs it shouldn't be much differenc. IMO

They are in coco. I've been watering twice a day, but since my botanicare tray comes tomorrow I wanted to just go all out. Setup up the 4x4 tent, build the stand for the tray, get them all into 3 gallon smart pots. Get everything ready for the long haul essentially.

How much would it roughly cost to set up an automated watering system for coco?

No drain adapter. I can get pretty much all plumbing stuff for free. I was just gonna make the back side about 1/2 inch higher than the front and drill a little hole for draining in the front middle.

Should I match the ppm with csn17 or is there nutrients more concentrated?
But 500 ppm is 500 ppm no matter what nutrient we use right?
I guess what Im asking is do I need to change my thinking on ppm with this system?
Do you think 1.5 ec in bloom will be too much?

I understand lowering ppm if the aeration is so great that you meet to run a lower ppm. But thebplant doesn't know what "brand" it is.

yea definitely stay away from fnb in the uc imo, shit was foaming like crazy on me lol.. that’s the first nutrient I tried when I got the uc..

I won't pretend i know what that means but it allows them to absorb at a much wider ph range. Like the ph perfect is chelated and it doesn't keep your ph at a specific ph persay but it makes the nutrients available at a much wider range
