that is exactly what I was trying to explain but he didnt want to listen

for tour average stretch per average strain it would create a total waste of plant below a certain point.....it would be to deep

no if you are gonna scrog.....tuck
I just didnt agree on a 2 trellis scrog as in not flipping until the canopy reached the second net...
fill the entire first net completely then flip
it will stretch through the second net which will be used for support

Brotha. That is the poster child for B grade.
But don't worry it's not entirely your fault. The breeder probably just hasn't found that right landrace to create some fire yet.

When is the ideal time to put the trellis up? Because in a month, I'll be transferring all my plants to a tent under a scrog net and pushing flower immediately. Should I also defol them now?

honestly you should be scrogging already
scrog is the act of weaving your branches through a net
which opens the plant up and as the branch lays down the nodes stand up to become new branches
scroging takes a fair amount of veg time before you flip to flower

Son of a bitch I was afraid of that. Is there an easy way I can find out the sex of the population before using the net? That would most certainly simplify things.

only time will tell what sex is
this is my advice
take a deep breath....and grab some patients
let your plants show sex ...then put them under the net and start to weave
if needbe....up-pot to a larger pot
and start to weave
when the net is completely full
flip to flower

I have a pinched nerve as well
right side of my neck
numbs my arm and my pinkey finger

GG4s1 x Super Silver Cough
Super Silver Cough is
(NL5 x haze) x Super Silver Haze

the SSC male was the stickiest plant I have ever encountered...EVER
as soon as I flipped to flower it just oozzed resin
the GG4 was ultra frost
hopefully this baby is extreme
if it is a male with good traits I will breed it to my Landrace Sativa girl
if it is a girl I will run it and if good breed it to my landrace male

looks hazey already with those long leaves...same trait as the father had
