Dechlorinated tap water
15 ml/gal dyna gro kln
5 ml/gal dyna gro protekt
5 ml/gal Earth Juice bloom
2.5 ml/gal Earth Juice microblast
10 ml/gal EJ Catalyst (molasses)
1-2 tsp/gal og biowar root pack.
Ph'd to 5.8
This is the first time I've tried cloning with beneficials. I've always used a sterile res with terrible results. Even after thoroughly cleaning everything with bleach repeatedly. Seems harder to keep a sterile reservoir, in my opinion. I have a 2 gal bubble cloner and a 20 gal diy aerocloner. I'm going to try this solution out in my bubble cloner first since it uses less nutes in case this fails. I cleaned my bubble cloner with bleach like normal. Basically it' a foot bath with a lid that has holes for collars. Very easy to clean. I have new airline, collars, and airstones. I have a heat mat set to 74 that the cloner sits on.

The only things I found to work better than just PH'd tap water, was .5ml/gal each Sea Green and Rootamentary in my aero cloner res. Sometimes a few drops of Superthrive or a little SLF-100. I pH down To 5.2 (it drifts up To 5.8 over night) I'd say 99% success rate. To me that seems like overkill, bit if it works then more power to ya! I would skip all the EJ and the Protekt in the cloner but that's just me. Let us know how it works in the bubble cloner!

You can just use tap water in a cloner. A couple drops of super thrive mentioned above is popular

I've tried plain tap water with pool shock and still no success. I think my temps were a little high. I got bumps in 3 to 5 days with no slime but that' it. Clones start looking like ass and don't progress any 8n rooting. I've changed the water everyday with nothing. Root bumps and that's it. When I changed the res every day I didn't use pool shock cause there was no need since the water had plenty of chlorine from the tap. Still couldn' get it right. I just knew changing the water every day would be the key and I would be at 100% success everytime. WRONG! I started thinking I have jacked up water but I've been using this same water for my established girls and they look amazing. I just can' figure it out

The only thing it can be is the temps, I guess. I didn't use new collars in my aerocloner. I use to clean it by pouring a half gallon of bleach in the res with 10 gallons of water. Put all the collars in there and turn on the water pump and air pump. I let this go for 24 hrs dump, rinse, then use the other half gallon of bleach with 10 more gallons of water. 24hrs later I dump and rinse thoroughly. I run plain tap water in it for an hr or so dumping it 3 to 4 times to rinse any unwanteds away. That's my cleaning regimen. Modify it if needed.

I just received my caps bennies root pack. If my new solution doesnt work them I'm for sure going with caps bennies, dyna gro kln, and maybe the protekt. This seems simple and should be effective. I've never heard of caps bennies not working. Nothing but praises to the capulator from all Ive read. I might get some ewc to make tea with to add also.

Keep it simple!

You use more bottles than I do in flower, even with my additives.

Use plain ole TAP water, ph to 6.0. Your choice of cloning dip, gel, spray, what have you. Run your pump 24/7, add a small air stone. Have some light, and viola!
Easy peasy and simple.

I clone for many grows, commercial to the old lady who grows my cbd. I may loose 1 of xxx I have going. I'e posted a few tweaks, tips, and tricks over the years here on the farm. And I always share what works and what doesn' to help the next guy out.

Ok everyone is saying KISS and I agree. I just purchased og biowar foliar and root pack plus some rocky Mountain earthworm castings. I grow organically so this will benefit my grow tremendously. I'm thinking of brewing a tea with these 3. Possibly add some KLN. Then just pour cup or so of tea in dechlorinated water. Thats pretty darn simple imho.

I've tried plain water changed everyay with no good results. That's as simple as I can keep it. Got bumps pretty fast but that's it.

i would agree with ya. my post was in jest. i suck at clones temp and Ph is probably my issue.

i need to work on those things also need salt for the soft water conditioner now i think about it, im sure that is not helping my cause since its low.

i wish you luck, i know it would be a useful skill to take a clone.

I've also got clones in rockwool right now. I found some extremely useful info on rockwool cloning. It said one 1.5 inch cube of rockwool weighs 5 grams. To achieve the perfect dampness the cube should weight 20 to 25 grams. With that being said u can now soak ur rockwool remove the water by using a salad spinner. Take a syringe and add as much cloning solution back to the cube until it weighs 20 to 25 grams. For maintenance know the weight of a clone. Ur clones should be all fairly close in weight. So if a damp cube weighs 20 grams plus a 1-3 gram clone, all u cubes with clones should never weigh over 25 grams. Weighing each clone every other day can get annoying but eventually u will figure out the exact amount of water to add and weighing will not be needed. This should help all inexperienced people who clone with rockwool including me. I've been doing this for 7 yrs now and cloning is still the hardest part for me. I've never been 100% consistently. Hell, now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever been 100% on a clone run. I always lose something. Plus my clones always look like ass once they do root. I see people take clones and u can' even tell it' a clone it looks so healthy while rooting. No yellowing or curling of leaves at all.
