I have never hunted whitetails or from a stand,it always amazes me the differences between them and muledeer.Out west it's almost always spot and stalk and shots are mostly 100 yards plus and ALOT of hiking up and down big mountains,4000-10,000 ft elevations are common.

Evening old farts and no, this old prick`s still around. Woke up this morning to cold, windy weather, but no snow. That part didn`t last long as it started to snow and hasn`t stopped all day. Not amounted to a whole lot, a few inches, but it`s still snow. At least I saw a buck today, a nice spike, but he got to walk. Did take a couple of pictures of the garden
