Finally gave the Lemon Dream a test.
The one that appeared more indica but in appearance only, had a better aroma so I went with that one.

Definitely needs more time. It could be that I haven’t smoked in quite some time. But I didn’t get anything aroma wise in the smoke.

The aroma is a subdued fruity Blue Dream with a nice Lemon Skunk citrus. I really love the smell.

Hopefully a little more time. Or maybe I’ll just make a mini run of BHO to get a pure taste

Still chopping

Down to the “I ain’t trimmin’ that!” part of the show.

That’s about 1 dehydrator trays worth.

All total with sugar trim, I think I’m up to 5 trays with more to go

Here’s what’s left...

Started another Afgani & Darth Vader.

Here’s what I trimmed for those that toke.

I have 2 Blue Dream in hydro/veg that are ready to make the jump to flower as soon I can get this all cut up.
Then drain it, clean it, fill it back up, get the mix squared away... EZ PZ

Hopefully by then I can go do more work on the cabin

Is the blue dream an auto or photo? I've been playing with my new blue dream auto, and I'm pretty impressed.

Do you have those drying in a lighted area? I would get them under darkness to prevent damage to the THC crystals. Light can destroy THC while drying. Covering those windows I hope.

nice males, looks like you've got some in various stages of flower TBH, like some of those looked almost a little over ripe,(maybe it was the light source) and some really prime, and a few (at least one) looked like they needed a little more time.

I do lot's of different strains, (at the same time) so I usually go more by look than the day count.

Yea, I think I might be mistaken on that pic, I took it down. I can't find one of the plant I wanted to show.

Here it is: I took some pics of the cured product right now. Keep in mind it's full of seed, so these bud's didn't reach their full potential. Still smells pretty good though, I've been ignoring this because I tend to enjoy the blueberry a lot lately, and the UK#3, but I'm going to do some of this tonight.

In her untrimmed leafy glory. What's that smell "blueberry/piney" I would say, it's very distinct for sure, it's very representative of that strain for sure.

The pile of nugs is a build up from the last 3 daze. The green ones were just cut today while half assed trimming the oil buds. They’re drying nicely at 50% RH.

The buds that are hanging have that slight crispy outside feeling. If we don’t get too much more rain, I should have it all in a container by the end of the week... burp...

Yea, I've been using between 60-65% as I can regulate it exactly here, as Seattle is always fairly humid. I've had past issues with both directions, dry too fast (loose smell, terpenes) and dry to slowly w/mold mildew issues. 60% is very safe, 65% is right where you want to peg it, if possible. (with mild air flow) But I usually start off with the goal of 60% in the beginning and then dial it up once they get close to dry.

I shoot for a 2 week time frame, but a minimum of 10 days hanging. If you need to slow it down because it's so dry where your at, I suggest trying double thickness paper bags (grocery bags) as they tend to breathe nicely but allow for the process to be drawn out longer.

You did a nice job with your pre-trim, but I guess I'm a hippy and tend to leave more of the sugar leafs, I think they help the curing process to some degree creating a membrane around the buds to a certain degree. I take all the fans off, and most of the smaller leaves, but leave the tiny ones around the buds, or simply trim the tips, I've done large batches of weed that's took days of work, so it depends on the amount, but with small batches you can get it exactly how you like.

I always like smoking some finger hash when I'm doing something like that. I've got a small little pipe, i use exclusively for just that, put a little piece of pot, or just do the hash chunk by itself. So fresh, so bubbly. Mmm, the smell.

Once I get a little ball started with my fingers and thumbs, I go to the scissors, as I've got like a half dozen that I use, let the gum up and clean them in mass. The scissors with the non stick on them make the best hash balls. LOL

Howdy stranger

I was gonna message you the other day, then I got busy and forgot... then I remembered, but couldn’t remember why

The smallish Lemon Skunk is down...

Im not really thrilled with how it turned out.
It looks and smells yummy. But apparently it doesn’t need as much grub as the Blue Dream.

The leaves got thick and green. I’ve had that happen a few times in the past. It does it’s job, it just has a nastyness to the smoke.

I’ll go ahead and cure it. But I’ll most likely end up making oil out of it. Either way, win win
