Why have I never met or heard of a user in 35 years that has has these symptoms related to marijuana?

Just thought I would chime in here although I dont grow in coco. Organics and coco is difficult. Im interested in the results.

It looks like you have some water stress going on. The pots look unevenely dry in the pics. Coco needs a contant moist medium but organic soil need a good dry cycle. I see this a lot here with soft pot grows.

Im not sure how to advise. But the drooping and edge deformity (minor) is normal for water stress issues. It should help get more responses bumping your thread. @Builder0101

Thank you so much for your input. I have been treating this as Hydro. If you read my medium mix you will see that there is 10% (cumulative)
Happy frog and fox farm ocean. I have been treating this as a hydro grow and I think it is closer to hydro than anything else. Funny thing you mention the water. I think what you are seeing in my photos is a lot of leaf tuck holding down the large fan leaves. I watered yesterday at 8:30 AM and again at 8:30 PM. This morning I definitely have some wilt. Too much water I'm sure. Though the medium is just moist. Definitely light and airy. 2 things maybe 3 or 4.
1. I have the cloth pots on the ground. This is for sure inhibiting drying. I have been removing the runoff with a sponge. Time consuming and not very efficient. I have addressed this issue as i explain later.
2. I think the 10% soil component is making my medium act like 90% hydro coco and 10% soil medium. If I can get my watering schedule dialed in I think I will be golden. It would be nice to water every 24 hours instead of 2x per day.
3. The uneven wet/dry appearance is due to uneven surface. High spots on medium within pot are drying giving that look. I water one cup at at time and make sure to evenly distribute same.


Hopefully this helps cloth pot growers. I have been looking for something to raise my pots with to facilitate runoff/ drying etc. Of course there are "pot elevators" Plastic pot stands. These are a couple inches tall and work great I'm sure. Another option is wire cooling racks for cooking. Again a great option. Today, however; I found small wire and mesh shelving units which are designed to go in cabinetry to help facilitate organization. Not only are they going to work fantastically, They stand about 6" (15.24 centimeters) allowing for ease of removing runoff, cleaning floor of tent, air movement. etc. I have provided a photo. I will update once I have the pots up on the stands.

I use a big turkey baster to suck up the runoff.

looking fine just ph swings in the root zone which is normal and causes the leaf curl. others will probably chime in however, flushing with steady ppm and pH at 20% runoff until they smooth will likely help. I dont like flushing either, if i knew i needed to flush as much as i do i would have just grown them in the toilet.

I gave them compost tea yesterday. I PHed it to 6.2. I know I know "dont PH tea" Tbe PH was 8.21 I water at 5.8 -6.2 I had to go to work and needed to water it tea. I buffered the lime juice in water 1st than added it to tea. I am not sure that I believe the bacteria will all DIE. Kinda weak ass bacteria if that is the case. I just could not give them that PH. too scared. At any rate there has to be some good stuff in the tea for them.

Unreal. It essentially had no colas just the 1st tiny formations of them. They are so big I can LST them. I must have almost 30 real colas between 5 plants.

21 days from germination. I thought they look pretty good. I moved the lights up yesterday. Perhaps the light was too close too strong. At any rate they have exploded with growth in the last week

good on the light raise them LED can be very intense and make miniature plants, how many watts is that led?

It's a Phlizon Cree COB 3000. 640 true watts.
Perhaps I should raise the lights as high as possible? They are about 36" now .

Did the compost tea onthe 19th AM. Watered again on the 20th AM. Look over watered. Did I mess them up with the tea. Do I water? Do I not water? Do I flush???

Yes. I will. I should be able to water more than once a day in coco. I think the 10% soil screwd me. I should have trusted the process and avoided the soil. Man they were perfect yesterday. I did a lot of "LST" Last night. Pinned down cola branches with soft coated plant ties. I dont think that has anything to do with it but have no experience there.
