I use a 10 inch shortening filter cone to separate liquid from solids. You can also use unbleached coffee filters.

I didn’t run ID last summer. Hard to control temps in the damn garage. I will be starting my build beginning of the year. Then I’ll be able to run year round again.

Dito!! Finally fired up garage heater should help growth tremendously. Vented propane heater from Mr. heater with a thermostat. Last winter 7gallons would last me 8 days.
